    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive, when operating in a multiple link communication system, one or more downlink control information (DCI) messages scheduling one or more downlink communications. The user equipment may determine, based at least in part on the one or more DCI messages, whether a communication constraint is satisfied for the one or more downlink communications. The user equipment may determine a communication configuration for the one or more downlink communications based at least in part on whether the communication constraint is satisfied. The user equipment may receive, in the multiple link communication system, the one or more downlink communications based at least in part on the communication configuration.     Abstract: Methods and Apparatus are provided for downlink retransmission of Code Block Groups (CBGs) when CBG level ACK and NACK feedback is unreliable. A User Equipment (UE) transmits to a Base Station (BS) feedback indicating an Acknowledgement (ACK) or a Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) corresponding to each of received set of CBGs transmitted by the BS to the UE. The BS receives and decodes the feedback and transmits back to the UE information regarding a result of the decoding. The UE, based on the received information, determines whether the BS correctly received and decoded the ACK/NACK feedback, and in some cases, ACKs and NACKs corresponding to which CBGs were incorrectly decoded by the BS. The UE processes retransmitted CBGs received from the BS based on this determination.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to methods and apparatus of time-domain multiplexing (TDM) for reference signals (RS) and data using a modified cyclic prefix. A reference signal (RS) and data are multiplexed either in a single symbol or in two time consecutive symbols that respectively including the RS and data. The cyclic prefix (CP) is added to the single symbol using a portion of the RS or to a first symbol of the two time consecutive symbols using a portion of the RS. The CP may be copied from the RS or the end of the symbol, but not the data, in a manner that affords a virtual Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) of the RS and data before discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spreading is performed in a transceiver to provide lower peak to average power ratios and no Inter-symbol interference.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for rate-matching data on a per transmission reception point (TRP) basis for single downlink control information (DCI) multi-TRP transmissions. Transmitters operating according to the present disclosure use a per TRP rate matching technique in which the rate-matching order is to first rate-match across spatial layers transmitted by a TRP, then across frequency, then across time, and then to another TRP, where remaining data is rate-matched across the spatial layers of that other TRP, then across frequency, and then across time. The described per TRP rate-matching technique causes code blocks of a transport block to be transmitted by one TRP, instead of each code block being transmitted by a group of TRPs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses for wireless communication are disclosed. In one aspect, a base station multiplexes services on shared channel resources with preemption. The base station may send one or more control messages with multi-carrier preemption information to user equipment (UE) devices which may be affected by the preemption. The preemption information may relate to a primary component carrier and one or more secondary component carriers designated for the UEs. In some aspects, the control message may comprise an indication of the availability of preemption information for each carrier in a plurality of carriers and may also include variable-size preemption information which is identifiable to the plurality carriers based on the subset of carriers for which preemption information is indicated as available. UEs may adjust the manner in which they send or receive a data transmission based on the preemption information. Additional aspects, embodiments, and features are described and claimed.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for slot aggregation in new radio (NR) systems. A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving radio resource control (RRC) signaling providing a semi-static configuration for transmission and/or reception of a repeated transport block (TB) and/or a different TB in each of a plurality of aggregated slots. The UE transmits or receives the TBs in the plurality of aggregated slots based on the semi-static configuration. Another method is provided in which the UE transmits and/or receives a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) in each of a plurality of aggregated slots, each DMRS associated with a repeated TB or a different TB in the slot. The UE determines, based on received signaling, whether the DMRS use a same precoder or a different precoder and modulates and/or demodulates the TBs in the plurality of aggregated slots based on the determination.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe an indication channel for wireless communications that indicates whether an ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) transmission is present in an enhanced mobile broad band (eMBB) slot. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication channel identifying one or more resources defined by time domain parts and frequency domain parts that have been punctured by an Ultra-Reliable Low latency Communication (URLLC) transmission. The number of frequency domain parts may be greater than or equal to two. The UE may determine a number of resource block groups (RBGs) in an active band width part (BWP) of the UE. The UE may map the RBGs in the BWP among each of a number of sub-bands equal to the number of frequency domain parts based on a pre-defined rule.
