    摘要: A device to transmit an audio signal to a user comprises a transducer and a support. The support is configured for placement on the eardrum to drive the eardrum. The transducer is coupled to the support at a first location to decrease occlusion and a second location to drive the eardrum. The transducer may comprise one or more of an electromagnetic balanced armature transducer, a piezoelectric transducer, a magnetostrictive transducer, a photostrictive transducer, or a coil and magnet. The device may find use with open canal hearing aids.

    摘要: Acoustic valves include a housing having an acoustic inlet, an acoustic outlet, and an acoustic passage between the inlet and the outlet. An electrical coil is disposed in the housing and configured to generate a magnetic field when energized by an actuation signal. A spring is coupled to an armature movably disposed in the housing between a first surface and a second surface. The valve has a first stable state wherein the armature is positioned against one surface when the electrical coil is not energized, and the valve has a second stable state wherein the armature is positioned against the other surface when the electrical coil is not energized. The armature is movable between the first and second states when the electrical coil is energized, wherein the acoustic passage is more obstructed when the armature is in one state than when the armature is in the other state.

    摘要: Provided is an ear-hole open type sound reproducing apparatus which can obtain good sound quality over a wide band while adopting a bone conduction system. A first equalizer 303 removes a high range component which is difficult to be reproduced by a vibration speaker 301 and is hard to be conveyed by bone conduction. Then, the vibration speaker 301 outputs the sound over a low range to a middle range by bone conduction sound. By equalizing processing of the first equalizer 303, it is also possible to reduce sound leakage of the high range. On the other hand, a second equalizer 304 removes components over the low range to the middle range. Then, an air conduction speaker 302 outputs high quality sound of the high range component by air conduction sound.
