摘要： A method for inserting preformed solder members into connector pins for use with electrical connectors. The method generally includes a connector pin having an open cavity at one end, into which a preformed solder member can be first inserted and then pressed, rather than melted, in place, such that voids and air spaces within the cavity are substantially eliminated. The method allows for inserting solder members in high quantities, where the preformed solder members are placed in a fixture and the fixture is placed on a shaker table, so that solder members can be inserted into large numbers of connector pins that are pre-installed in connector grommets, largely simultaneously.

Volumes of the swing piece and the reset mechanism can be smaller to diminish internal space dimension for the plug-in mechanism rotating, the overall volume is further reduced.

摘要： The electrical connector includes a contact module received within an insulative housing. The contact module includes an upper contact unit and a lower contacts unit stacked with each other. 摘要： An electrical male terminal of this invention includes a clamp or crimp area, a main body, and a blade. Protruding members and support members of the main body act as overstress protection. A panel shield member protects a protruding guide member. In another embodiment of this invention, a protruding member extends from a first support member of the main body, and a cut-out portion at the lower portion of the main body accommodates therein the protruding member. The electrical male terminal is formed, substantially in its entirety, as a contiguous and continuous single construction having included therein at least the main body, the clamp or crimp area, and the neck area that joins the main body and the clamp or crimp area, and/or the lever member (or tang member) and/or the blade.
