    Abstract: A display device including a display panel; a frame at a rear of the display panel; a light source on a substrate between the display panel and the frame, the light source providing light for the display panel; and a reflecting sheet between the display panel and the frame, the reflecting sheet having a rectangular shape with a first long side, a second long side opposite the first long side, a first short side adjacent to the first long side and the second long side, and a second short side opposite the first short side, wherein the reflecting sheet includes a first sheet part forming a central area of the reflecting sheet; a second sheet part forming a side area of the reflecting sheet around the first sheet part, the second sheet part including dot areas; and a hole next to a border line between the first sheet part and the second sheet part, wherein at least one of the dot areas in the second sheet part is formed along the first short side or the second short side, wherein the at least one of the dot areas including a first dot area next to the hole in a parallel direction of the first long side or the second long side and a second dot area next to the first dot area in a parallel direction of the first short side or the second short side, and wherein a density of dots in the first dot area is different from a density of dots in the second dot area.

    Abstract: A vehicle light guide and a vehicle headlight which can improve long-distance visibility are provided. The vehicle light guide has a shape having an incident surface on which light from a light source is incident, a first reflective surface which internally reflects the light incident from the incident surface toward a front in a front-back direction in a vehicle-mounted state, a second reflective surface having a shape with an inclined portion inclined to a lower side in the front-back direction in the vehicle-mounted state across an edge side on the front in the front-back direction and internally reflecting the light reflected by the first reflective surface toward the front in the front-back direction, and an emission surface that emits the light internally reflected by the first reflective surface and the second reflective surface and emits a light distribution pattern to the front of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A light source unit includes light-emitting elements, a light-shielding body, and a rod lens including a first end surface, a second end surface, and a side surface. The light-shielding body is separated from the side surface, covers the side surface, includes an opening exposing at least a portion of the second end surface, and includes a tip protruding further than the second end surface in a first direction from the first end surface toward the second end surface. A first plane crosses the first direction and is at the same first-direction position as the tip. A second plane crosses the first direction and is at the same position as the second end surface or between the tip and second end surface in the first direction. A first surface area of the opening at the first plane is greater than a second surface area of the opening at the second plane.

Light (light (L2)) at peak luminous intensity in a light distribution in a second region (12b) of the light-irradiating surface (12) is sent to a second region (32b) of the target surface (32) via a second region (22b) of the reflecting surface (22). An optical distance from the first region (12a) of the light-irradiating surface (12) to the first region (32a) of the target surface (32) via the first region (22a) of the reflecting surface (22) is greater than an optical distance from the second region (12b) of the light-irradiating surface (12) to the second region (32b) of the target surface (32) via the second region (22b) of the reflecting surface (22). The luminous intensity of the light (L1) is higher than the luminous intensity of the light (L2).
