Abstract: An air compressor includes a compressor main body that compresses air; a storage tank that stores the gas compressed by the compressor main body; a motor that rotates a rotary shaft to drive the compressor main body; and a control unit that controls a drive of the motor. In a case where a value of a voltage to be supplied to the motor is lower than a first voltage value, the control unit detects a stop time of the compressor and changes an operation stop pressure which is a pressure to stop the drive of the motor, based on the stop time.

Abstract: A system includes a compressor and a controller. The controller operates the compressor in a flooded-start control mode. The flooded start control mode includes operating the compressor according to at least one cycle including a first time period during which the compressor is on, followed by a second time period during which the compressor is off. The controller determines at least one of the first time period, the second time period, and a number of cycles for the flooded-start control mode. At least one of the first time period, the second time period, and the number of cycles is based on received asset data corresponding to at least one of a type and a characteristic of at least one component of the refrigeration system. The controller operates the compressor in the flooded-start control mode after determining the first time period, the second time period, and the number of cycles.

Abstract: The present invention provides an oil feed type air compressor that can reduce a power consumption of a compressor body during an unload operation. The oil feed type air compressor includes: a compressor body (1) compressing air while feeding an oil into a compression chamber; a separator (4) disposed on a discharge side of the compressor body; a compressed air-feeding system (5) feeding the compressed air separated by the separator to a use destination of the compressed air; an oil-feeding system (6) feeding the oil separated by the separator to the compression chamber of the compressor body; an oil cooler (11) and a temperature sensor (12) disposed in the oil-feeding system; and a controller enabling execution of a temperature control. The temperature control by the controller is performed by variably controlling a rotation speed of a cooling fan (13) such that, during the load operation, a temperature detected by the temperature sensor is a target value T1, and during the unload operation, the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is a target value T2 (with the proviso of T1>T2).

Abstract: A refrigeration system includes a startup mode control module that receives an off time of a compressor and an ambient temperature, determines whether the off time and the ambient temperature indicate that the compressor is in a flooded condition, and selects, based on the determination, between a normal startup mode and a flooded startup mode. A compressor control module operates the compressor in the normal startup mode in response to the startup mode control module selecting the normal startup mode, operates the compressor in the flooded startup mode in response to the startup mode control module selecting the flooded startup mode, and transitions from the flooded startup mode to the normal startup mode after a predetermined period associated with operating in the flooded startup mode.

Abstract: A pumping cassette including a housing having at least two inlet fluid lines and at least two outlet fluid lines. At least one balancing pod within the housing and in fluid connection with the fluid paths. The balancing pod balances the flow of a first fluid and the flow of a second fluid such that the volume of the first fluid equals the volume of the second fluid. The balancing pod also includes a membrane that forms two balancing chambers. Also included in the cassette is at least two reciprocating pressure displacement membrane pumps. The pumps are within the housing and they pump the fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet line and pump the second fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet.

Abstract: A portable inflatable apparatus that includes a rigid polymeric base having an exterior circumference, which extends between top and bottom walls that together with the exterior define an interior compartment accessible via a circumferential panel and a top wall opening. A battery powered air pump is mounted in the interior compartment, and an inflatable structure is releasably retained about the top wall and has a deflated stowage volume that is less than a portion of the compartment. The apparatus is formed with a shape that when inflated projects away from the base when pressurized. A valve couples the pump with the inflatable structure, and is configured to manually and/or automatically retain and release pressure within the structure. The apparatus may also incorporate control and access panels, a pressure sensor for automated inflation and deflation, a cover to retain the stowed inflatable structure, a power supply and/or charging port, and lighting.

Abstract: A recirculation pump system provides the ability to recirculate water from a water heater outlet, back into a water heater inlet through a cold-water supply line. The recirculation pump system pumps heated water, which may have cooled to a sub-optimal temperature, into a water heater. The recirculation pump system provides the ability to use a plumbing network that does not contain a dedicated recirculation line. The recirculation pump system uses a water pump to circulate water, a temperature sensor to control system activation based on water temperature, and a check valve to control the direction of fluid flow. This recirculation pump system provides a minimally invasive way to install a recirculation system into a plumbing network that otherwise would not be able to accommodate recirculation functions, and service modern plumbing fixtures efficiently.
