    Abstract: An outboard motor, including an engine having a cylinder containing a combustion chamber, an intake pathway connected to the combustion chamber, a piston disposed in the cylinder, a crankshaft connected to the piston, a fuel injection device connected to the intake pathway, and an ignition device connected to the combustion chamber. The outboard motor further includes a controller that is configured to receive a signal indicating an engine speed from a sensor, control the fuel injection device to suspend fuel supply and control the ignition device to suspend ignition, upon determining that the engine is in an over-revolution state, control the fuel injection device to release the suspension of the fuel supply upon determining that the engine has recovered from the over-revolution state, and control the ignition device to release the suspension of the ignition after lapse of a number of cycles of the engine since the release of the suspension of the fuel supply.

    Abstract: A snow bike intake, snow bike conversion kit, and/or air intake pod snow bike conversion kit, having: a throttle body coupling; an elbow-shaped intake duct coupled to the throttle body, a pre-filter body cage coupled at a rear thereof to the duct, and a textile cover fitting about the cage. The duct has an interior angle between 40 and 60 degrees. There are a plurality of flat (interior and exterior surface) sensor mounts disposed about and through the duct, including an octagonal ring of sensor mounts circumscribing the duct body. The cage has a flat front opposite the rear that has a larger diameter than a diameter of the rear. The duct has an aspect ratio of exterior angle length to diameter no greater than 3.5:1 and the duct and prefilter combined has an aspect ratio of exterior angle length to diameter no greater than 4.5:1.

The intake device includes the air cleaner including an air cleaner case and a sidewall filter that purifies an air suctioned into the air cleaner case.     Abstract: An air intake system includes an air cleaner for housing an air filter element therein above an off road vehicle engine, and a surge tank, which buffers the filtered air, at a location beside the engine. A descending tube from the air cleaner connects into a top cover of the surge tank, and an outlet tube of the air intake system extends horizontally from the top cover of the surge tank for connection into the throttle of the engine. A vapor recovery pipe connect the crankcase of the engine, lower than the outlet tube, back up to the air cleaner upstream of the filter element. The surge tank includes a tank bottom casing removably connected to a tank upper cover, with the descending tube and the outlet tube connecting into the tank upper cover.

    Abstract: A supercharging and stabilizing structure for an all terrain vehicle or a utility vehicle includes an engine body including a cylinder having an intake passage and an outtake passage. A supercharger includes a chamber having an inlet and an outlet. The supercharger further includes a duct at the inlet. An air accumulator is mounted between the cylinder and the supercharger and includes an air chamber. An input side of the air chamber intercommunicates with the outlet and the duct of the supercharger. An intake manifold is connected between an output side of the air chamber and the intake passage. When fuel is added into an engine, a control valve on the duct is closed. During fuel return or idling of the engine, the control valve is opened, and the inlet and the outlet of the supercharger, the air chamber, and the duct intercommunicate with each other to balance pressure.
