摘要: A system for supplying gas, such as compressed air, from large capacity banks of storage containers having different pressure capacities. The gas is withdrawn first from the lowest pressure storage bank and later automatically from one or more successively higher pressure banks, if necessary to satisfy the demand. The demand pressure that is to be satisfied may be selected, and the system stops supplying gas automatically when the selected demand pressure is reached.

摘要: A control system having a primary run and a trim run, each run including an inlet coupled to a main gas supply line, a pneumatically actuated control valve positioned downstream of the inlet, a pneumatic pressure controller having variable deadband adjustment, and an outlet feeding into a gas supply line to the facility. The control valve of the primary run is preferably high-capacity, while the control valve of the trim run is low-capacity. Further, the system and method for controlling gas supply to the facility has a total flow capacity through the primary run and trim run to the facility being defined by CX, which is the total flow capacity of the primary run (CP) plus the total flow capacity of the trim run (CT), and an actual gas flow to the facility being defined by FX, which is the actual flow of the primary run (FP) plus the actual flow of the trim run (FT) and wherein FX is less than CX, CT is less than CP and FX is either stable, increasing, or decreasing based on a demand from the facility.

摘要: Implementations are described for maintaining helium/air mixture within a tube in an evacuated tube transportation system. A first implementation includes a set of helium tanks uniformly fitted along the tube length, where helium is injected with controlled valves that open or close to maintain the desired level of helium. An operations control center (OCC) receives helium concentration levels in the tube and instructs a controller in the tube to release helium into the tube when detected levels of helium is lower than the desired level of helium. Another implementation is described where a capsule traversing the tube may have a source of helium gas that can be released into the tube. A hybrid approach is also described where helium can be released from a source within the tube and from another source within the capsule.

摘要: The present invention discloses a fully visual flow loop system for studying hydrate blockage. The fully visual flow loop system includes a first pipeline, a second pipeline, a third pipeline and a fourth pipeline connected successively in an end-to-end way; a single screw pump is connected between the first pipeline and the fourth pipeline from the four pipelines; the first pipeline, the second pipeline, the third pipeline and the fourth pipeline are all transparent to light; a plurality of CCD cameras are arranged between the first pipeline, the second pipeline, the third pipeline and the fourth pipeline; and, the fully visual flow loop system is arranged in a stepping low-temperature thermostatic chamber; a solution injection system can inject a solution into the fully visual flow loop system; a separation and collection system can separate and recover the solution; and a data acquisition system can integrate sensor information in all the other systems and give real-time feedback to ensure reasonable and coordinated operation of all systems. The fully visual flow loop system for studying hydrate blockage in the present invention can realize full visualization and real-time monitoring of the flow loop system.
