    摘要: A retractable registration apparatus aligns a printing screen with an image platform. The apparatus has a pair of arms. Each arm extends along a longitudinal axis and has at least two sections with a substantially square cross-section along the longitudinal axis and at least two other sections along the longitudinal axis having a circular cross-section inscribed within the square cross-section. A pair of mounting brackets are associated with each of the arms and each have a substantially square opening extending through the bracket for slideably receiving the substantially square cross-section of the arm. The pair of mounting brackets are mounted to the lower surface of an image platform so that the side walls of each bracket are in the same plane and are parallel to the center line. Each arm has a track formed within the arm, and one of the mounting brackets associated with the arm has a guide pin projecting into the arm for guiding the movement of the arm. The track has portions with a longitudinal component for movement of the arm in a translational movement and has portions having a radial component for rotation of the arm about the axis. A finger extends from the arm and has at least one registration pin for registration with the screen frame. The apparatus has a detent for retaining the arms and the registration pins in the retracted position and a second detent for retaining in the exact registration position the arms and the registration pins for aligning the screen frame.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a screen printing apparatus comprising a support mechanism for supporting the material to undergo printing; a printing plate in which an ink penetrating portion is formed possessing the shape of the print; a printing plate housing for housing the printing plate at a position in contact with the material to undergo printing; a slider which is capable of bi-directional horizontal movement with respect to the printing plate; a slider driving mechanism for driving the slider bi-directionally; a first squeegee and a second squeegee for spreading over the printing plate ink supplied to the printing plate; and a squeegee switch mechanism installed in the slider for supporting the first squeegee and the second squeegee, and for selecting one of these first squeegee and second squeegee, and placing the selected squeegee in contact with the printing plate. In this manner, a sheet support mechanism for supporting a sheet; a plate unit formed from a printing plate and plate housing; and an ink imprinting mechanism are provided. The aforementioned ink imprinting mechanism comprises the aforementioned first squeegee and second squeegee; slider; a belt for moving the slider in both directions, and a first cylinder and second cylinder for raising and lowering each squeegee. The printing plate is formed from a material incorporating a ferromagnetic substance, and electromagnets and/or permanent magnets are arranged in the aforementioned sheet support mechanism.

    摘要: A silk screen work station and clamp mechanism assembly for the precise positioning and support of a work piece comprising a cabinet which has an upper planar work surface with a centrally disposed working area and a pair of compartments below the work area and with cabinet drawers and storage space. The central working area also has a rectangular opening formed therein. The opening has lateral and longitudinal edges. A work plate in a rectangular configuration corresponds to the rectangular opening in the work surface, but slightly smaller lengthwise and width-wise for precise positioning within the opening during operation and use. A pair of spaced parallel lead screws are secured to the under side of the work surface on opposite sides of the opening through bearing members. The bearing members are secured to the under side of the work surface. A single lead screw extends transversely with respect to the pair of lead screws and is secured by bearing members to the under side of the work surface adjacent to the opening. A pair of threaded bearing members are secured to the under surface of the work plate. Each is threadably secured to one of the longitudinal lead screws for movement thereof and the work plate in the longitudinal direction. A pair of threaded bearing members are secured to the under surface of the work plate and threadedly secured along the transverse lead screw at spaced locations for the transverse movement of the work plate.

The process and apparatus are such that the can body is briefly heated with the auxiliary carrier applied thereto and the transfer process which is iniated in that way is then brought to a conclusion at a preferably falling temperature. That provides visually sharp images on the can body, by suppression of the lateral migration of the dyestuff molecules during the transfer operation, to provide a satisfactory closed printing effect at the overlap region of the auxiliary carrier.

    摘要: A screen printing apparatus is provided for transferring sheet materials from a supply area to a printing table. The apparatus has a pair of grippers which are guided jointly over the printing table in a timed manner in order to grip a blank sheet at a feeding table and pull it over the printing table. The two grippers are separately guided above the printing table in such a way that their movements take place in opposite directions to one another and that one of the gripper fails passes over the other one in the area of the center of the printing table. This design has the advantage that during the transport by a first gripper of a sheet to be printed on the printing table, a second gripper rail already returns to its starting position. Therefore, when the printed sheet is removed from the printing table, a new sheet can be placed thereupon immediately. Idle times for the conveying of the sheets to be printed are eliminated with the use of only two grippers.

A pair of rolling means are attached to opposite sides of a squeegee holder with each rolling means in registration with a respective force absorbing surface. A squeegee extends from a bottom surface of the squeegee holder intermediate the rolling means. As the squeegee holder is drawn across the screen each rolling means travels along a respective force absorbing member.

    摘要: An automatic peel control mechanism for use in a screen printing press employs a cam-driven mechanical linkage to raise the front end of the screen frame at a controlled rate to a predetermined height above the printing bed in timed relation to the motion of the carriage which transports the squeegee. The linkage includes a pair of elongated reciprocating bars which extend the length of the printing head and are connected to lifters at their forward ends to lift the front end of the printing screen. The cam is rotatably mounted upon the carriage drive shaft. The rotation of the cam is controlled by a roller chain assembly which maintains a timed relationship between the cam and the drive shaft. The initial off contact dimension and peel rate may be readily adjusted by varying the initial position and the rate of travel of the elongated bars.
