    摘要: A brake test method measures the brake force per axle of a vehicle by having an operator linearly depress the vehicle brake pedal while the axle's left and right wheels positioned on torque motor driven, constant speed rollers. The roller drive torque magnitude is periodically sampled and the samples are filtered to remove ovality discontinuities, the left and right side filtered samples are then compared to detect the maximum brake force imbalance.

    摘要: Apparatus for measuring braking actions of an automotive vehicle wherein the braking power is measured between the ground and a braked wheel of the automotive vehicle, and wherein data required for identification of the automotive vehicle are recorded, this process being characterized in that for each wheel (7), the weight resting on the wheel is likewise measured, and that further parameters of the braking action are calculated on the basis of the measured values. The apparatus comprises a braking power test stand, and a computing unit, with storage, indicator and/or recording units. The apparatus also has weight measuring units (1), and an output of each of the braking power test stand (6) and of the weight measuring units (1) is connected to inputs of the computing unit (10). An output of each of the computing unit (10) and the storage unit is connected to a respective input of the indicator and/or recording unit (11).

    摘要: Wheels of a two-wheeled motor vehicle are supported by support rollers corresponding to each wheel, respectively, and an antilock brake system is operated for each wheel. Measuring means 20 and 31 measure values related to the rotation speed of rollers supporting the wheel for which the antilock brake system operates. Based on the values obtained by the measuring means 20 and 31, the waveform accompanying the change in rotation speed of the wheel that occurs by the operation of the antilock brake system is computed by a computing means 44 based on the values obtained by the measuring means 20 and 31. A determination means 45 determines whether or not a portion of the waveform obtained by the computing means 44 falls within a predetermined range or not. According to the present brake system test of a two-wheeled motor vehicle, not only is it possible to specify the malfunctioning portion easily, but it is also possible to reduce the time required for each test of the motor vehicle dramatically, enabling the test of the two-wheeled motor vehicle to be performed with high accuracy and efficiency.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method for inspecting a brake system of a two-wheeled vehicle are provided, which not only can reduce the time required for each inspection of the two-wheeled vehicle to efficiently perform inspection of the two-wheeled vehicle, but also remarkably improve the inspection accuracy. Each wheel of the two-wheeled vehicle is supported by respective corresponding support rollers and an anti-lock brake system and a front and rear wheel interlocking brake system acts on the wheels. Data for rotational speeds of the rollers supporting the wheel acted upon by the anti-lock brake system are measured by measuring encoders 20, 31. Data for temperature of a brake actuating part 45 of the wheel acted upon by the front and rear wheel interlocking brake system is measured by a measuring sensor 46. Pass/fail determination of the brake system is performed by a determination 50 from a first pass/fail determining element obtained by the measuring encoders 20, 31 and a second pass/fail determining element obtained by the measuring sensor 46.
