The method comprises: a) providing one between a flavoring substance (610; 1063) and a smoking substance (710; 1066) in said at least one air path (600; 700; 1061; 1064); selecting (920) one between a flavoring process and a smoking process, and c) controlling (930-950, 960-970) a heating in said casing (205; 1003; 1006) according to the selected one between said flavoring process and said smoking process.
Abstract:
The baking chamber (3) of an oven for baking food products is connected to a steam generator (8), which communicates with a water containing tank (7) defined by two shells (10a, 10b), which are permanently connected to each other along a junction line (15).
Abstract:
A steam generator includes: a water storage chamber which stores water therein, a first heating portion which heats water stored in the water storage chamber to generate steam, a water supply device which supplies the water storage chamber with water, a controller, a steam spout port which ejects steam generated in the water storage chamber therethrough, and a temperature detector which detects a temperature in the water storage chamber, wherein a water level in the water storage chamber is calculated depending on the temperature detected by the temperature detector, and wherein at the time of steam generation, the controller is configured to perform a water supply control of the water supply device based on the calculated water level such that a water volume from the first heating portion to a water surface is smaller than a water volume from the first heating portion to the bottom surface of the water storage chamber.
Abstract:
A cooking apparatus is provided. The cooking apparatus includes a main body provided with a cooking chamber, and a steam supply device generating steam to supply the steam to the cooking chamber. The steam supply device includes a water storage unit to store water, a steam generator that is supplied with water from the water storage unit to generate steam, a water supply tube to transfer water in the water storage unit to the steam generator, and a water collection tube to transfer residual water in the steam generator to the water storage unit. Accordingly, a period to put water may be increased since the residual water in the steam generator is collected.
Abstract:
A household appliance includes a control panel that is movable between a rest position and an exposed position. A reservoir, which is adapted for holding a fluid, has a filling opening and is positioned behind the control panel in an interior of the household appliance when the reservoir is in an operating position. The control panel is configured to impede access to the reservoir and/or the filling opening when the control panel is in the rest position and the reservoir is in the operating position. The control panel is further configured to allow access to the reservoir and/or the filling opening when the control panel is moved to the exposed position.
Abstract:
An attachment structure of a storage unit having: a tank casing body provided for forming a space for holding a water supply tank; a tank casing door member including a support shaft supported to the tank casing body on one side so as to make the tank casing door member opened/closed freely, and a lock portion locked to the tank casing body on the other side, the tank casing door member blocking the space of the tank casing body in a closed state and biased in a direction of departing from the tank casing body; and an operation member including an engagement portion engaged with the lock portion to retain a state locked to the casing base, and a push button for unlocking the locked state by a pushing operation, wherein: an outer circumference of a storage unit is surrounded with an opening portion of an exterior panel; the push button is protruded from an outer surface of the exterior panel in a mount position of the exterior panel when the exterior panel is in assembling work; and a space for inserting a circumferential edge of the opening portion of the exterior panel is formed on the back of the push button.
Abstract:
A cooking apparatus to improve heating efficiency and to quickly cook food. The cooking apparatus includes a heater provided at a tray receiving food to be cooked and having a pair of terminals to supply power to the heater, and a plurality of sockets provided at a rear wall of a cooking cavity. When the tray is placed on a pair of support rails of the cooking cavity and the terminals of the heater are inserted into one of the sockets, the tray is directly heated by the heater to cook the food. The heater includes a conductive film coated on a lower surface of the tray, and first and second electrodes connected to the conductive film to be opposed to each other and connected to the terminals. The conductive film and the tray are heated by current flowing through the conductive film between the first and second electrodes.
Abstract:
An oven includes a food chamber with an access door which houses a water evaporator chamber in fluid communication with the food chamber. By sensing the temperature of the water in the evaporator and the dry bulb temperature within the food chamber and by controlling a dry heat source that heats the air and a wet heat source that heats the water, the cook can control both the final food temperature and the degree of browning of the food.
Abstract:
A control system for an electrically energized humidifier used with a hot-air furnace including an electric time-delay circuit and control means for manually adjusting the time delay. Each time the thermostat for the system energizes the furnace the humidifier is energized for the predetermined time delay or until the furnace is de-energized, whichever occurs first. The time delay is manually adjusted so that it is longer than the energization cycle of the furnace in warm weather and shorter than the energization cycle of the furnace in cold weather. It is also manually adjusted so that in cold weather at the maximum energization cycle, the humifidier does not produce condensation within the building. The relative humidity of the conditioned air thus decreases proportionately to increases in the atmospheric temperature.
Abstract:
A fireplace heat exchanger comprises a plurality of laterally spaced, C-shaped heat transfer tubes, each having a mounting plate connected at its lower end. A header extends along the tube lower ends to flow air therethrough, and removable fasteners individually connect each mounting plate to the header. A bracket interconnects the outer ends of the tubes, such that a damaged tube can be easily replaced by disassembling the bracket, removing the fasteners from the damaged tube, and detaching the mounting plate. The heat exchanger also includes a humidifier, comprising a water carrying conduit which extends through one of the tubes. Water droplets are slowly metered from the conduit onto a hot upper surface of the tube, and vaporize substantially instantaneously upon impingement to therewith mix with and humidify the heated air flowing through the tube.
