摘要： A fluid coupling for a corrugated pipe, comprising a coupling body having a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion through which the corrugated pipe can be passed, metallic seal means arranged at the small-diameter portion, for sealing an end portion of a corrugated pipe pressed against the same, a ring-shaped engaging member disposed in the large-diameter portion and having its inside diameter reducible to a size smaller than the diameter of the top of corrugation of the corrugated pipe, and retaining means having an outside diameter small enough to be inserted into the small-diameter portion, an inside diameter large enough to be penetrated by the corrugated pipe, and a first end portion capable of engaging the engaging member, the retaining means being adapted to press the end portion of the corrugated pipe against the seal means, while transferring the elastic member from the large-diameter portion to the small-diameter portion, thereby holding the engaging member in a predetermined axial position such that the engaging member is located in a root portion of the corrugated pipe.

摘要： Connector means for use in connecting a corrugated conduit, of the type having longitudinally spaced-apart circular ribs on at least its outer surface, to an electrical box or other members. The connector means, in one embodiment, employs a tubular element on the box and the tubular element is provided with a slot. The conduit is axially inserted into the tubular element. A wedge is wedged in the slot so as to project into a groove between two adjacent ribs on the conduit to secure the conduit in the tubular element. In another embodiment, the connector means includes a wall in the box having a hole through which the conduit is passed. A wedge is inserted in the gap between the wall edge defining the hole, and the conduit, to lock the conduit in place.

摘要： The specification describes a connector fitting for flexible corrugated tubing having parallel, coaxial corrugations; the connector comprising a bushing with a housing for accommodating in use the end of a length of corrugated tubing which housing is provided with at least one opening for receiving a locking element which is generally C-shaped in form and has resilient legs, the inner surface of the locking element is provided with a plurality of ribs the thickness of which corresponds approximately to the spacing of adjacent corrugations of the tubing and the opening in the housing is bounded by a pair of bridge pieces separation of which is substantially the same as the distance between the outermost surfaces of the legs of the locking element. A seal may be provided which in use lies between the outer surface of the corrugated tubing and the inner surface of the housing, the seal having a toroidal end part lying between the end of the corrugated tubing and a stop formed in the housing.

摘要： A perforated corrugated thermoplastic tubing having at least one uncorrugated cylindrical portion thereon suitable as a male member of a connection. Each uncorrugated cylindrical portion has cleats extending outwardly from the periphery thereof which operate as interlocking means for connecting such corrugated tubes together. The portions of the corrugated tubing immediately adjacent the uncorrugated portions have corrugations of a reduced depth to thereby receive the cleats of the uncorrugated cylindrical portion to provide a liquid pervious connection. The corrugated tubing may be severed at the junction of each cylindrical portion with the adjacent corrugated portion to thereby provide male and female components of a connection.

摘要： A drain basin has a basin with walls and a cavity therein. The basin can have one or more sleeves coupled thereto. The sleeves are in communication with the cavity. The sleeves form pipe couplings to the basin. Each sleeve has a free end and a fixed end. The fixed end is coupled to the basin. The sleeve has an inside diameter that decreases toward the fixed end, which inside diameter is structured and arranged to receive the outside diameter of a small pipe. The sleeve also has an outside diameter that increases toward the fixed end, which outside diameter is structured and arranged to receive the inside diameter of a larger pipe. In addition, catches are provided to couple a corrugated pipe to the sleeve. The catches comprise fingers that flex or projections on ribs. Thus, the drain basin allows several diameters of several different pipes to be coupled to the drain basin.

摘要： A fast-connecting joint for corrugated pipes includes a main body and an engaging member. The main body has a through hole for liquid to flow through, and an inner recessed annular wall provided with an annular slope close to one end of the main body. The engaging member possesses an outer annular wall, and plural flexible curved petals extending outward around one end of the outer annular wall and respectively having a projection on their outer surface. In assembly, the engaging member is inserted in the through hole of the main body, with the projections of the engaging member correspondingly fitted against the inner recessed annular wall. In use, a corrugated pipe can be quickly fastened with the fast-connecting joint tightly when it is inserted into the engaging member to keep its annular groove blocked by the curved petals.

摘要： A coupling for a corrugated conduit has a housing of a rigid plastics material with two resilient spring catches on opposite sides to engage between corrugations on the conduit. A layer of a softer, elastomeric material is continuously joined on both the interior and exterior of the housing. On the interior, the softer material extends on a tapering surface to diametrically seal with a range of conduits. On the exterior, the layer of softer material forms both a flange on an annular ledge to seal with a cooperating coupling and manual gripping regions.
