    摘要: A first truss may be coupled to a second truss by securing a male coupling portion of a coupling device to the first truss, and securing a female portion of the coupling device to the second truss. An extension of the male coupling portion is positioned within an opening of the female coupling portion. The extension is provided with a groove, and the female coupling portion is provided with a lever having a cam formed on it, such that the level may be rotated causing the cam to engage the groove and secure the male coupling portion to the female coupling portion, thereby securing together the first and second trusses.

    摘要: A high-rigidity structure is formed using vertical column members comprising hollow right cylinders with four integral, radially-projecting, equally-spaced flanges. The flanges have a plurality of holes for mounting structural elements along the length of the columns. A set of platforms may be supported by structure that resides in the space immediately below the platforms, thus access to the platforms is unobstructed by support structure for the platforms above. This arrangement allows the platform to be serviced by hoists from more than one side, and for access from the hoists to be unobstructed.

    摘要: A connector for a shoring system comprises a housing adapted to be mounted on a frame which is to be connected to legs which define the plurality of axially extending channels. The housing slidable receives a bolt. The bolt has a head shaped and dimensioned so that in one orientation axial movement of the bolt may introduce the head through the slot into the channel, and in an alternate orientation the bolt may not be withdrawn from the channel by axial movement. The bolt is associated with means adapted to rotate the bolt and to move the bolt axially relative to the housing.

The stubs may be U-sectioned, their walls being bent inwardly at their edges, and the uprights may be of G-section dimensioned to be a force fit over the stubs. The stubs may be spot-welded to vertical flanges on the top, base and intermediate shelf.
