    摘要: Tableted detergents are formed from a hydrated phosphate sequestrant, caustic, free water and, optionally, fillers by combining the products and tableting the components without permitting the tablets or detergent to exceed 50.degree. C. In a preferred embodiment where fillers are incorporated, all free water is combined with the phosphate sequestrants, both anhydrous and hydrated. After the water has been absorbed by the sequestrants, the filler and caustic can be added and the detergent tableted. The free water is bound sufficiently tightly to the phosphate sequestrant that it does not rapidly react with the anhydrous caustic, maintaining the temperature at less than 50.degree. C., which in turn prevents the water of hydration in the phosphates from reacting and thereby weakening the formed tablets. The tablets can also be formed by combining the filler with the phosphate sequestrants and water and subsequently adding caustic if the detergent is cooled and its temperature maintained below 50.degree. C. until the hydration reaction with the caustic and free water is complete.

The device includes an upright, vertical cylindrical container constructed in capacities from less than 1 gallon to 1000 gallons and fitted with one or more internal screens to obstruct the escape of solid particles of a specific size into the product liquid stream. The design permits fresh supply liquid to contact chemical(s) in radial and upflow axial-radial flow patterns.The container and attachments are designed to withstand high fluid pressures [up to 200 psig] without rupture or leakage. The device is connected to other installed in-ground pipes attached to spraying nozzles, sprinklers or sprinkler systems or flexible loose hoses or rigid pipe lying on the ground and further attached to sprayer devices such as hand-held nozzles, sprinklers, sprayers or spargers to be used manually, in semi-automatic or in fully automatic modes to disperse chemical(s). The device, which is formed from metal and/or thermal plastic materials and elastomers, uses valves to regulate chemical dispersement.

    摘要: A shower soap assembly is provided for mounting to a shower head fixture. The assembly has open opposite ends and soap holding screens mounted within for holding a cake of soap. When soap is desired, the housing is moved to a down soap loaded position such that water from the shower head nozzle passes through the housing dissolving the soap, and soapy water is dispensed through the output end. When soap is no longer desired, the housing is moved to an upright position out of the path of the stream of water.

The container provides a screen to hold the fertilizer and permits water to permeate therethrough. The screen and fertilizer are secured within a screen holder having continuous or perforated side walls, depending on the type of solid fertilizer to be used, and a gapped bottom support for the screen.Water from the sprinkler is fed into the container and is pressurized through the screen and dissolves the fertilizer. The rate of solubilization depends on the water flow, the type and solubility of the fertilizer, and the size of the perforations in the screen and gaps in the screen holder.

    摘要: A device for dissolving and dispensing soluble compounds includes a base having a flow channel therethrough, and a housing secured to the base having a mixing chamber therein. The mixing chamber is adapted to contain dry solutes, and an open container within the chamber is adapted to hold liquid solutes. Water is admitted to the chamber from the flow channel, the water diffusing through a perforated dome member to mix with the dry solutes. A delivery tube extends from the dome member to the container to direct a jet of water therein for dissolving heavy liquid solutes. An outlet port extends from the chamber to the flow channel adjacent to the outlet end thereof, so that solutions formed within the chamber may be drawn into and mixed with the water moving through the flow channel.
