摘要： The filtering vessel (1) holding cartridge filter (16) is connected to a receiver (3) through a quick-opening valve. There is generated an underpressure in (3) for separating the filter cake built up on the cartridges, said underpressure being lower than the evaporation pressure of the liquid contained in the filter cake. Accordingly, there is built up an overpressure in the filtering vessel (1). An immediate opening of the valve (2) and a proportionate temperature in system (1) and (2) results in a spontaneous bursting off of the filter cake from the cartridge surface, which bursting off, in consequence of the pressure compensation between (1) and (3) still will be increased by means of the liquid contained in the filter cake evaporating in the course of a flash procedure. The relatively dry filter cake is collected in the receiver (3). The next filtration process can be started after closing valve (2).

摘要： In a filter pressure container provided with a plurality of vertically suspended tube-like filter elements having a filter cloth thereon the filtration of residual volumes of a liquid being filtered and the rinsing-out of the filter cakes built up during the filtration on the filter cloth are carried out by pumping out of the residual liquid or the rinsing liquid from the container by pump into an injector mounted in the container above the filter elements. The injector sprays out the residual liquid or the washing liquid over the filter elements while a pressure gas or air is simultaneously supplied into the container to force the liquid mist through the filter elements.

摘要： In a pressure filter for liquid media a plurality of filter elements is supported by a removable hollow cross bar which, when the filter tank is opened, can be removed together with all or groups of the filter elements. The filter element has a flexible filter wall and preferably an outer fine meshed wall and an inner coarse meshed wall.Between the two wall portions a packing material is arranged. Preferably the entire filter element is a flexible tube element. Spray tubes are arranged in the filter tank which are also removable together with their supporting carrier member. The spray elements serve to rinse out the filter cake. This may be done by passing the rinsing agent successively at spaced time periods through individual groups of the filter elements.

Filter cake built up on the filter elements is dislodged from all of the filter elements simultaneously for cleaning purposes, whereby the dislodged filter cake falls to the lower portion of the chamber and is removed from a discharge port at the lower portion of the chamber. A density detector controls a valve for the discharge port so that when the density of the liquid in the tank increases beyond a predetermined level, the discharge port is automatically opened, and then automatically closed when the density falls below a predetermined level.
