摘要: A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber therein for receipt of articles for washing, a heating element, a sump positioned at a bottom of the wash chamber for receiving fluid from the wash chamber, a drain pump in communication with the sump, and a temperature sensor. Methods of operating the dishwashing appliance may include filling the sump with a liquid and heating the liquid by activating the heating element. Such methods also may include measuring a temperature of a liquid in the sump with the temperature sensor and comparing the measured temperature of the liquid to a minimum drain temperature threshold. Such methods may include draining the liquid from the sump after the measured temperature is equal to or greater than the minimum drain temperature threshold, such as immediately after heating the liquid.

摘要: A method for cleaning dishes in a warewasher is provided: It may include filling a sump with hot water, dispensing detergent into the sump, running a wash cycle, draining the used hot water and detergent from the sump after the wash cycle, flushing the sump, filling the sump with the aqueous ozone solution, and running a rinse cycle with the aqueous ozone solution. A warewasher is provided: It may include a timer, a wash chamber, a sump, a hot water fill solenoid configured to direct hot water into the sump, a chemical dispenser, at least one spray arm, a circulation pump, an ozone generator assembly configured to provide aqueous ozone solution to the sump, and a drain assembly. The timer may control the hot water fill solenoid, the chemical dispenser, the circulation pump, the ozone generator assembly, and the drain assembly to effectuate a cleaning sequence.

摘要: Method for operating a shortened dishwashing cycle of a dishwasher, dishwasher configured for running the shortened dishwashing cycle and computer program product for operating a shortened dishwashing cycle of a dishwasher. The dishwasher (10) includes a tub (12) configured to hold dishware during a dishwashing cycle, at least one circulation pump (50, 250), at least one heating element (230), and a controller (40, 240) configured to operate the dishwasher. The controller (40, 240) is configured to operate the dishwasher (10) according to at least one of a normal dishwashing cycle or the shortened dishwashing cycle. The method includes providing a first amount of warm water to the tub (12). The first amount of warm water is greater than a standard amount of water provided to the tub (12) for the normal dishwashing cycle. The method further includes, while the first amount of warm water is being provided into the tub (12), pulsing the circulation pump (50, 250) based on a predetermined timing sequence and activating the heating element (230) to heat the water within the tub (12).
