Abstract:
An operation management system 1 according to the present invention is configured so as to connect an operation data accumulation and transmission device 10 connected to an NC unit 16 to an operation management device via telecommunication circuits 20. The operation data collection and transmission device 10 collects data on an operating condition of a machine tool 15 to store the same in an operation data storage section 12, and based on the accumulated operating condition data, generates transmit data with a configuration for associating a data-element identifier which defines an item concerning operating condition with operating condition data corresponding to this item to transmit the same to the operation management device. The operation management device analyzes the data-element identifier of the received data, recognizes the operating condition item and updates the operating condition data in databases corresponding to the recognized item by the received operating condition data.
Abstract:
A method and device to automatically determine the operation balance of processing/assembly machines such as NC machine tools. The device detects the machine operations related to income and expenditure as income/expenditure data and stores the income and expenditure amounts in a memory based on the detected income/expenditure data and calculates the income/expenditure balance of the individual machines for an arbitrary period based on the stored income and expenditure amounts. In the NC machine tool, the operations related to the income and expenditure can be detected while monitoring the execution statuses of the NC program. By calculating the income/expenditure amounts with multiplication of such operations by the predetermined unit prices of income or expenditure and subtracting the expenditure amount from the income amount, the operation balance of the machine for each cycle or every week or month can be determined.
Abstract:
A driving motor comprises a rotor having a rotatably supported shaft, a rotor case rotating together with the shaft, a hub seat attached to the rotor case for mounting a disk hub and a chucking magnet for magnetically attracting the disk hub and a thrust ball bearing having a washer, a plurality s of balls and a retainer for holding the balls and supporting the load in the thrust direction of the rotor. The motor also includes a flatness control section which passes through the rotor case to contact the washer of the thrust ball bearing and controls the flatness of the washer and a position control section which passes through the rotor case to contact an inner circle surface of the washer of the thrust ball bearing and controls the washer in the thrust direction. The chucking magnet, flatness control section and position control section are integrally molded of resin.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a machining state checking apparatus and method for checking whether a workpiece mounted on a machine tool and a workpiece fixture are shifted. A machining state checking apparatus has an actual CCD camera for imaging a workpiece fixed on a machine tool and a workpiece fixture and generating actual two-dimensional image data thereof, a virtual image generating section for generating virtual two-dimensional image data of the workpiece and workpiece fixture based on data on three-dimensional models of the workpiece and workpiece fixture, a comparing section for comparing the actual two-dimensional image data and virtual two-dimensional image data generated by the actual CCD camera and the virtual image generating section, respectively, and determining whether they match each other by comparing the portions corresponding to the workpiece and workpiece fixture in the actual two-dimensional image and the virtual two-dimensional images of the workpiece and workpiece fixture.
Abstract:
A machine tool is controlled to restart automatic operation thereof for machining a workpiece from an interrupted point after the machine tool, which has been automatically operated by NC program commands output from an NC apparatus, is caused to interrupt the automatic operation. The NC program commands are classified into a plurality of main groups with respect to the contents of motions for changing the machine state of the machine tool. When the automatic operation of the machine tool restarts after the automatic operation has been interrupted halfway, an order of execution of the NC program commands is determined such that the main groups are arranged in a prescribed order of execution, for automatically generating a machine state restoration command. After the machine tool has been caused to interrupt its automatic operation under NC program commands, the automatic operation of the machine tool can restart from the interrupted point without the need for the operator to manually generate or correct a command for restoring the machine tool to its machine state upon interruption and also with safety free from physical interference between the workpiece and a tool during their movement.
