Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for initiating channel occupancy in a semi-static mode SL channel access in a wireless communication system. A method of a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a higher layer, an indication on a semi-static mode SL channel access, receiving a set of configurations for the semi-static mode SL channel access, including a duration of a period and determining a first portion of the period as a channel occupancy associated with the period. The method further includes determining a second portion of the period as an idle duration associated with the period, performing a SL channel access procedure in the idle duration associated with the period, and transmitting a first SL transmission over a channel in the channel occupancy associated with the period after successfully performing the SL channel access procedure.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for time domain resource allocation for a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) with carrier aggregation are provided. A method of a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a set of configurations from a higher layer and a carrier indicator field in a physical channel. The method further includes identifying, based on the set of configurations, a resource pool including resource blocks (RBs) for transmission of PSFCHs; identifying, based on the set of configurations, a first carrier frequency from a set of carrier frequencies based on the carrier indicator field; and determining a first set of RBs from the resource pool for transmission of a first PSFCH in the first carrier frequency. The method further includes determining a first transmission occasion for the first PSFCH and transmitting the first PSFCH in the first transmission occasion using the first set of RBs in the first carrier frequency.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for transmission window determination for a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) in a wireless communication system. A method of user equipment (UE) includes receiving a set of configurations from a higher layer and receiving a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH). The PSSCH enables hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback. The method further includes determining a transmission window for a PSFCH; performing a sidelink (SL) channel access procedure before a transmission occasion in the one or multiple transmission occasions; and transmitting the HARQ feedback in the transmission occasion for the PSFCH over a channel upon successfully performing the SL channel access procedure. The transmission window includes the one or multiple transmission occasions for the PSFCH and the one or multiple transmission occasions are based on at least one of: a window offset, an interval between two neighboring transmission occasions, and a number of transmission occasions.

The method further includes determining a resource for transmission of the PSFCH on the first carrier from a sidelink resource pool of PSFCH resources associated with the first carrier and transmitting the PSFCH on the first carrier using the resource.
