    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit control signaling indicating a set of beamforming configurations associated with a set of antenna panels at the UE. The UE may select one or more antenna elements of at least one antenna panel of the set of antenna panels based on a beamforming configuration associated with the at least one antenna panel. The UE may generate a set of beam weights for a wireless communication based on the beamforming configuration and the one or more antenna elements, and may use the generated set of beam weights to transmit the wireless communication. In some examples, the UE may include, in the control signaling, indications of a set of beamforming properties, a number of beam weights, a resource differential, or a combination thereof, associated with each beamforming configuration.

A communication device may receive control signaling indicating a configuration for reporting a set of beam angle measurement values between at least two beams relative to a respective beam of a set of beams and a phase difference measurement value between post-beamformed channel phases using the at least two beams of the set of beams. In some examples, the communication device may determine a set of reference signal received power (RSRP) measurement values associated with the at least two beams of the set of beams. The communication device may transmit a report including the set of beam angle measurement values and the phase difference measurement value based on receiving the control signaling indicating the configuration. For example, the communication device may report the RSRP measurement values associated with the at least two beams of the set of beams.

For example, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, signaling indicating a group of component carriers (CCs) and one or more subbands within the group of CCs. The UE may receive one or more reference signals within the one or more subbands and determine a group CQI index corresponding to the group of CCs based at least in part on the one or more reference signals. The UE may then transmit a report to the base station indicating the group CQI index and the base station may determine a CQI index for each of the one or more subbands based on the group CQI index.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. When operating in a high-pathloss mode, wireless devices in a network may transmit or receive downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a transmission time interval (TTI) for a physical shared channel (such as a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) or a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH)). A wireless device may determine one or more intervals that correspond to a periodic signal that collides with portions of the TTI. Based on the identified intervals, the wireless device may communicate over the physical shared channel during the TTI. In such cases, the TTI may overlap in time with the one or more intervals to allow communication of the periodic signal during the portions of the TTI. For instance, a periodic signal may be transmitted or received during each of the one or more intervals.

Generally, a user equipment (UE) may indicate one or more uplink beams that the UE is capable of generating where grating and main lobes of the one or more uplink beams satisfy a permissible exposure constraint. The UE may operate in an intra-band or inter-band carrier aggregation (CA) mode, and the UE may indicate an uplink beam per band of the CA mode that the UE is capable of generating to satisfy the permissible exposure constraint. Frequency dependent beam training may be initiated by the base station to support intra-band CA modes and inter-band CA modes. The base station may indicate a frequency band and uplink beam to the UE, and the UE may indicate one or more parameter values that the UE may use to generate the uplink beam in the band that satisfies the permissible exposure constraints.
