    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A mobile wireless node (e.g., a mobile integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node) may transmit a control message to a parent wireless node indicating one or more supported network connectivity modes. A network connectivity mode may provide network connectivity to one or more user equipments (UEs) via the mobile wireless node when wireless backhaul connectivity is lost between the mobile wireless node and the parent wireless node. The parent wireless node may authorize the mobile wireless node to use a first network connectivity mode, and the mobile wireless node may communicate with a first UE in accordance with the first network connectivity mode. In this way, the mobile wireless node may use a network connectivity mode to extend coverage of a network to the first UE even if the first UE is outside of the coverage area of the network.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Idle discontinuous reception (I-DRX) configurations may be managed on a per beam or a per subset of beams basis. The network may indicate, via system information, the I-DRX configuration for a given beam or subset of beams. A user equipment (UE) in an idle mode may receive paging occasions via the given beam in accordance with the indicated I-DRX configuration for that beam. In some examples, system information may indicate a list of beams and corresponding I-DRX configurations for each beam in the list of beams. In some examples, system information may indicate the I-DRX configuration for the beam on which the system information is transmitted. If a UE changes beams, the UE may receive system information via the new beam that indicates an I-DRX configuration for the new beam before applying the I-DRX configuration to the new beam.

A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a network entity within a first coverage area associated with a first wireless cell. The UE may receive a system information (SI) update indication that indicates a modification of the first coverage area to a second coverage area. The SI update indication may also include one or more thresholds that the UE may use to determine whether the UE is to receive an updated SI message associated with the modification of the first coverage area to the second coverage area, or whether the UE is to skip receiving the updated SI message associated with the modification of the first coverage area to the second coverage area. The UE then determines whether to receive the updated SI message based on the one or more thresholds.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for UL LBT status reporting. A scheduled node (e.g., a UE) may sense a status of each LBT channel in a set of one or more LBT channels. The set of one or more LBT channels may include at least one of one or more first LBT channels associated with a scheduling grant or one or more second LBT channels unassociated with the scheduling grant. The scheduled node may transmit, to a scheduling node (e.g., a base station), a LBT status report indicative of the status of each LBT channel in the set of one or more LBT channels. The scheduling node may schedule, via a second scheduling grant, a second set of one or more LBT channels based on the status of each LBT channel indicated in the LBT status report.
