Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. For example, some aspects relate to techniques to signal information related to a cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) or discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration prior to a user equipment (UE) commencing a random access channel (RACH) procedure or during the RACH procedure. In this way, after the RACH procedure is complete, the UE may start to monitor physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) occasions in a next active time associated with the cell DTX/DRX configuration. Additionally or alternatively, information related to a cell DTX configuration may be signaled in a system information block (SIB) or a multicast/broadcast service (MBS) configuration for UEs receiving MBS communications. Accordingly, the UE may refrain from attempting to decode a multicast traffic channel (MTCH) and/or refrain from attempting to decode the MTCH and a multicast control channel (MCCH) during the inactive time of the cell DTX configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a central unit (CU) and a distributed unit (DU) to communicate information for a network energy savings (NES) related conditional handover (CHO). For example, the CU, which may configure one or more user equipments (UEs) for the CHO, may indicate which UEs are configured to the DU, which may serve the UEs via Layer-1 (L1) signaling. The CU may further indicate which of the configured UEs are to perform the NES related CHO, which may be determined according to measurement reports from the configured UEs. In some examples, the DU may trigger the NES related CHO for UEs associated with measurement reports that satisfy an NES-specific threshold value, which may support the CU and the DU transitioning to the NES mode.

Abstract: A device uses a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT. It transmits a first signal indicative of a first sidelink (SL) discontinuous reception (DRX) pattern selected to avoid in-device coexistence (IDC) interference at the device between the RATs and receives a second signal indicative of a second SL DRX pattern obtained in view of the first SL DRX pattern and is configured according to the second SL DRX pattern. It transmits a third signal indicative of a first periodic or aperiodic SL gap selected to avoid IDC interference between the RATs. It receives a fourth signal indicative of at least one of a second periodic or aperiodic SL gap obtained in view of the first gap and is configured according to the second periodic or aperiodic SL gap. The device autonomously denies a sidelink transmission in response to the sidelink transmission prospectively causing IDC interference.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a priority rule for prioritizing overlapping configured grant opportunities associated with a periodic data transmission, wherein the overlapping configured grant opportunities are associated with component carriers having a same logical channel priority, wherein the priority rule indicates a priority of a first component carrier associated with a first configured grant opportunity, of the overlapping configured grant opportunities, relative to a priority of a second component carrier associated with a second configured grant opportunity, of the overlapping configured grant opportunities, based at least in part on whether the UE is associated with a survival state. The UE may transmit the periodic data transmission according to the overlapping configured grant opportunities based at least in part on the priority rule. Numerous other aspects are described.
