    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for dynamic physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) mapping modes are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first control message identifying one or more sets of resources around which the UE may rate match for a downlink channel. In some examples, the UE may receive a second control message including an indication that the UE may perform either rate matching around at least one set of resources of the one or more sets of resources or receiving the downlink channel on the at least one set of resources. As such, the UE may receive signals on the downlink channel according to the indication received in the second control message.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for notifying puncturing of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first control message identifying a set of resources used for transmissions by the base station. The UE may receive a second control message that includes an indication of a procedure used by the base station for a collision between the set of resources and a downlink channel transmitted to the first UE by the base station. In some examples, the UE may receive and decode signals on the downlink channel according to the indicated procedure.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The techniques described herein relate to schemes for channel aware tone reservation (CATR) contention with a reference signal. A network entity determines, based on a reference signal pattern, a reference signal resource element within a first slot of a channel for transmitting a reference signal. The network entity determines, based on a CATR pattern, an initial CATR resource element. The CATR pattern is based on a channel frequency response of the channel. The network entity determines a CATR resource element based on the reference signal resource element, the initial CATR resource element, and a resource element scheme of multiple resource element schemes. The multiple resource element schemes resolve a contention between an overlap of the reference signal resource element and the initial CATR resource element. The network entity transmits an indication of the CATR resource element to a user equipment.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for relaying physical sidelink control channel in sidelink communications. A method that may be performed by a first user equipment (UE) includes receiving a sidelink control information (SCI) transmission from a second UE, the SCI pointing to one or more resources for a retransmission of the SCI by the second UE. For example, a wireless communications system may support New Radio (NR) cellular-vehicle to everything (C-V2X) communication. The UE may decode the sidelink control channel and disable one or more radio frequency (RF) components associated with processing the sidelink transmission on a second set of symbols of the time slot based on decoding the sidelink control channel. For example, the UE may disable one or more RF components if the UE determines the sidelink control channel is decoded unsuccessfully.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for reconfiguring a resource envelope allocated to a distributed unit (DU) or a radio unit (RU) based on power consumption at the DU or the RU. A virtual radio access network (VRAN) manager (e.g., a host platform for a VRAN) may perform baseband pooling to allocate a resource envelope to a DU or an RU. After an initial allocation of a resource envelope to a DU or an RU, the DU, the RU, or both may report an amount of power consumed during signal processing for one or more dimensions of the resource envelope. The VRAN manager may then reconfigure a resource envelope for the DU or the RU based on the power consumption at these devices (e.g., to minimize operating expenses (OPEX) or maximize utilization of the resource envelope).

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless communications system, a first user equipment (UE) may receive a message from a second UE via a set of one or more antennas, where a first symbol period and a second symbol period of the message include a duplicated signal, and the first symbol period is immediately prior to the second symbol period in a time domain. The first UE may calculate a correlation between first data included in the first symbol period and second data included in the second symbol period of the message for each antenna of the set of one or more antennas. In some cases, the first UE may power down at least one radio frequency chain based on the result of the calculated correlation satisfying a threshold value.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) transmits a first transmission comprising first sidelink control information (SCI) using a first cyclic shift, where the first SCI includes information about a second cyclic shift of second SCI for a second transmission from the UE. The UE then transmits the second transmission comprising the second SCI using the second cyclic shift. A receiving UE receives, from a second UE, a first transmission comprising first SCI having a first cyclic shift and uses information in the first SCI to determine cyclic shift information about a second cyclic shift of second SCI for a second transmission from the UE. The receiving UE may exclude the second cyclic shift from selection using the information received in the first SCI.
