Abstract: A node including an RU and a control entity is disclosed. The node may receive, from a base station at a control entity of the node, an indication of at least one obstruction for communication via at least one reflective surface. The indication may indicate to the control entity to utilize an RU of the node and the at least one reflective surface for communication. The node may configure, upon receiving the indication of the at least one obstruction, the RU and the at least one reflective surface for communication with the base station. The node may forward communication received from, or forward communication to, the base station via the RU and the at least one reflective surface based on the at least one obstruction for communication.

In some aspects, a base station may determine, for full-duplex mode communication on a first link and a second link, a timing adjustment to at least one of a first timing or a second timing, wherein the timing adjustment is to cause a delay between clutter reflection from a first signal and an occurrence of a second signal to occur during a cyclic prefix of the second signal; cause the timing adjustment to be applied to the at least one of the first timing or the second timing; and communicate in the full-duplex mode with a first node and a second node in accordance with the timing adjustment, wherein communicating includes transmitting the first signal to the first node and receiving the second signal from the second node. Abstract: A wireless device of the present disclosure may be able to reduce the time needed to determine a subarray and/or beamforming direction used for mmW communication. An apparatus may maintain first information associated with a correlation between each of a plurality of wireless device orientations and a plurality of nodes, at least one subarray, and a corresponding beamforming direction. The apparatus may communicate with a first node using a first beamforming direction selected from the first information. In certain aspects, the first beamforming direction may be correlated with a first orientation of a first subarray at the wireless device and the first node. The apparatus may perform a handoff procedure from the first node to a second node when a position of the first subarray changes from the first orientation to a second orientation.

Abstract: In wireless communication systems that support 5G or NR protocols, subframes used for communication may have different numerology options. Numerology options may refer to the characteristics of the subframe such as a tone spacing within each symbol of the subframe, a symbol duration for each symbol of the subframe, a number of symbols in the subframe, etc. A subframe may include a control channel (e.g., the PDCCH) and a data channel (e.g., the PDSCH). In an aspect, the control channel and the data channel within the subframe may have different numerologies. As such, a need exists to signal the numerology of the subframe to users and to determine whether and how to multiplex the control channel and the data channel into the subframe.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to dynamic antenna array reconfiguration and signaling in millimeter wave bands. A user equipment (UE) may detect an antenna array change condition. The UE may transmit a request for beam training for an antenna array configuration in response to the detecting. The request for beam training may include a requested antenna array configuration for the UE and an indication of beam weights to use with the requested antenna array configuration. A base station may determine whether to grant or deny the requested antenna array configuration for the UE. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication of an antenna array configuration for the UE. The base station may transmit the number of reference signals as a set of contiguous channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS). The UE may train the reconfigured active antenna array configuration based on the reference signals.
