Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may identify a set of interference measurement resources associated with signals received from a second UE. The first UE may perform one or more measurements on one or more signals received from the second UE within the set of interference measurement resources, and determine interference at the second UE associated with sensing signals transmitted by the first UE based on the one or more measurements. The first UE may compare the interference at the second UE to one or more thresholds, each associated with a respective sensing application at the first UE. The first UE may then transmit one or more sensing signals in accordance with respective sets of sensing signal parameters based at least in part on the comparing.

Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods related to power saving, including during connected mode operation and for extended reality (XR) data communications with or without discontinuous reception (DRX), are provided. For example, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, while in a connected mode, a configuration based on data traffic for the wireless communication device, the configuration indicating: a first zone associated with a first set of operating parameters for the wireless communication device; and a second zone associated with a second set of operating parameters for the wireless communication device, the second set of operating parameters being different than the first set of operating parameters; operating in the first zone with the first set of operating parameters to monitor for a first downlink communication signal; and operating in the second zone with the second set of operating parameters.

A UE may identify a non-dormant mode configuration for measuring cross-link interference in a non-dormant mode for a cell. The UE may receive, from a base station, an indication to switch to a dormant mode for the cell and may identify a dormant mode configuration for measuring the cross-link interference in the dormant mode. The UE may measure the cross-link interference in the dormant mode based on the identified dormant mode configuration and receiving the indication to switch to the dormant mode. The UE may transmit, to the base station, an indication of the measured cross-link interference.

A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may determine a beam configuration associated with a set of directional beams of a base station. The beam configuration may include a set of identifiers associated with the set of directional beams. The UE may determine beam position information associated with a coverage area of each directional beam of the set of directional beams based on the beam configuration. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may determine beam classification information associated with the coverage area of each directional beam of the set of directional beams based on the beam configuration. The UE may select a directional beam of the set of directional beams based on the beam position information and the beam classification information, and communicate with the base station using the selected directional beam.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE) entering a dormant state with respect to a secondary cell group (SCG) of a node network (SN) having a primary serving cell (PSCell). In one aspect, the UE may maintain a parameter set for at least the PSCell while the UE is in the dormant state with respect to the SCG. For example, the UE may receive a parameter change message from either the SN or a master network (MN) and transmit a parameter change acknowledgment to either the SN or the MN. The parameter change message may be transmitted as one or both of a downlink control information (DCI) or media access control (MAC) control element (CE). The UE may transmit physical layer measurements to the SN based on the parameter set.
