Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive synchronization signal block (SSB) related measurement configurations exclusively in a system information block (SIB). The UE may receive SSB frequency lists for idle measurements in both a SIB or a radio resource control (RRC) message, such as an RRC release message. In some examples, the UE may receive SSB related measurement configurations or SSB frequency lists for idle measurements in a SIB and an RRC message. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive SSB frequency lists in a SIB and an RRC message, while SSB measurement configurations for SSB frequencies out of a sync raster may exclusively be indicated in the RRC message. The UE may therefore experience improved coverage and reliability and, in some examples, may promote low latency for wireless communications relating to multiple radio access technologies, among other benefits.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may establish, by a first subscription of the UE, a connection to a first network entity using two transmit (Tx) chains of the UE. The UE may receive, by a second subscription of the UE, a paging message from a second network entity. The UE may receive, by the first subscription from the second subscription, a request for the first subscription to enter a mode that supports one Tx chain. The UE, by the first subscription, may reduce the two Tx chains to the one Tx chain for the first subscription. The UE may perform, by the second subscription to the second network entity, the connection setup based at least in part on the first subscription reducing the two Tx chains to the one Tx chain. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a base station. The UE may receive, from the base station, parameters associated with a set of frequency bands, the parameters indicating a priority of each frequency band of the set of frequency bands. The UE may then measure, based on the priority, one or more frequencies of at least one frequency band of the set of frequency bands. The UE may then transmit, after a time delay and to the base station, a measurement report including measurements of one or more frequency bands of the set of frequency bands.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for enhanced inter-frequency detection between misaligned base stations are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) may determine that a neighbor cell associated with a first frequency is misaligned with a serving cell associated with a second frequency different than the first frequency based on first measurements of the neighbor cell within a first measurement gap window having a first length. The UE may detect a location of a synchronization signal block (SSB) associated with the neighbor cell within a second measurement gap window having a second length greater than the first length. The UE may determine an alignment offset between the location of the SSB and the first measurement gap window. The UE may obtain second measurements of the neighbor cell within a third measurement gap window that includes the location of the SSB based on the alignment offset and parameters of the SSB.

Abstract: In a dual network link scenario, a wireless network may provide a user equipment (UE) with a measurement configuration indicating multiple inter-frequency measurement objects during an off duration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle configured on a first network link. The UE may assign the inter-frequency measurement objects to a second network link if the second network link has an always-on configuration. Alternatively, if the second network link has a DRX configuration, the UE may perform some inter-frequency measurement activities on the first network link and assign some inter-frequency measurement objects to unoccupied gap occasions in the off duration for the DRX cycle configured on the second network link. In this way, the UE may save power by spending more time in a low power state, and mobility performance for the UE may be improved by increasing the efficiency and reliability of inter-frequency measurement activities.

The method may include a user equipment (UE) generating a set of multimedia packets including a first multimedia packet and a second multimedia packet that is generated after the first multimedia packet. The UE may add the set of multimedia packets to a queue and apply an uplink packet handling protocol. Using the uplink packet handling protocol, the UE may discard the first multimedia packet and transmit, to a base station, the second multimedia packet. Using the second multimedia packet, a server in communication with the base station may generate a video frame and transmit the video frame to the UE via the base station.

A system may support techniques for triggering user equipment (UE) assistance information (UAI) based on mobility, wake up signal (WUS) configuration, or both. In some cases, a UE may communicate with a network node (e.g., a base station) on a first channel according to a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration. The UE may determine that a speed of the UE satisfies a mobility threshold and may transmit UAI requesting one or more updated DRX configuration parameters based on the speed of the UE satisfying the mobility threshold. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive signaling configuring the UE to monitor for WUSs and may transmit UAI requesting one or more updated DRX configuration parameters based on the WUS configuration. The UE may receive control signaling configuring the DRX configuration with the one or more requested parameters in response to the UAI.
