    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for prioritization of sidelink communications of a user equipment (UE) with one or more access link communications. A prioritization scheme may provide inter-UE and intra-UE prioritization that may be used to prioritize sidelink communications and one or more access link communications. Inter-UE prioritization may be used at the UE to determine whether to cancel all or a portion of a sidelink communication that uses resources indicated in a cancellation indication from a base station, or to transmit the sidelink communication irrespective of the cancellation indication. Intra-UE prioritization may be used at the UE to determine which of one or more access link communications or a sidelink communication is to be maintained or canceled in the event of overlapping resources between the access link and sidelink communications.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may allocate a set of information bits into multiple subsets of bits corresponding to channel instances of a channel. The transmitting device may encode a first subset of bits according to a first channel coding scheme for a first channel instance and a second subset of bits according to a second channel coding scheme for a second channel instance. The transmitting device may input encoded subsets of bits to a polarizing transform, which may output a set of encoded polarized bits that are transmitted to a receiving device. Upon reception of the encoded polarized bits, the receiving device may apply a depolarizing transform to obtain multiple subsets of bits corresponding to channel instances of the channel, and may decode each subset of bits according to a respective channel coding scheme.

    Abstract: A first UE may determine that a BPL with a second UE has degraded below a threshold and generate, based on the determination, a beam training frame for an on-demand beam training procedure. The beam training frame may include a first AGC symbol, SCI indicating that the beam training frame is for beam training, and one or more sets of an AGC symbol and beam sweeping reference signals. The first UE may transmit the beam training frame multiplexed with one or more data frames to the second UE. The second UE may receive the beam training frame for the on-demand beam training procedure based on a determination that the BPL with the first UE has degraded below the threshold.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network node may store, in a first buffer, a first set of transport blocks (TBs) received at the network node over a wireless channel during a first time window. The network node may store, in a second buffer, a second set of TBs received at the network node over the wireless channel during a second time window and according to at least one monitoring criterion. The network node may receive a first set of one or more network coding messages over the wireless channel. The network node may decode the first set of one or more network coding messages based on the first set of TBs in the first buffer. The network node may transmit a second set of one or more network coding messages corresponding to a portion of the second set of TBs in the second buffer.
