    Abstract: A method for multi-antenna processing in multi-link wireless communication systems includes transmitting by a first MLD, a first capability defining a first number of Spatial Streams (SS) supported by the first MLD for a single link exchange over one of a subset of links from a plurality of links between the first MLD and a second MLD. A second capability is transmitted by the first MLD defining a second number of SS supported by the first MLD for each link of a multi-link exchange. At least one Radio Frequency (RF) chain of the first MLD is configured to enable communication over the subset of links from the plurality of links.

    Abstract: A communication device receives a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU). The PPDU includes i) a PHY preamble and ii) PHY data portion that includes one or more PHY midambles, and the PHY preamble includes i) an indication of a length of the PPDU, and ii) an indication of a periodicity of PHY midambles in the PHY data portion. The communication device calculates a number of PHY midambles in the PPDU using i) the indication of the length of the PPDU, and ii) the indication of the periodicity of PHY midambles. The communication device calculates a reception time for the PPDU using the calculated number of PHY midambles, and processes the PPDU using the calculated reception time.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described for millimeter wave (mmWave) link beam failure recovery. A wireless multi-link device (MLD), such as a non-AP MLD, establishes mmWave link and a non-mmWave link with a second wireless MLD. Upon detecting a beam failure of the mmWave link, the wireless MLD transmits, via the non-mmWave link, an indication of the beam failure which may also include a request frame for a candidate beam training procedure to be initiated by the second wireless MLD. In response, the wireless MLD receives, via the mmWave link, candidate beam training packets from the second wireless MLD. The wireless MLD further transmits, via the non-mmWave link, beam training feedback information regarding the candidate beam training packets. In an example, a new Tx beam (e.g., a Tx beam with a highest received signal strength) is selected for maintaining the mmWave link.

    Abstract: A method of a low power listening mode includes announcing, by a first wireless device is operating in a low power listening mode. The first wireless device in the low power listening mode receives an initial frame having a single spatial stream and a low data rate from a second wireless device. The frame requests a frame exchange with the first wireless device. The low data rate is lower than a maximum data rate of the first wireless device. A reply to the initial frame is transmitted to the second wireless device in a single spatial stream with the low data rate. The reply acknowledges an association with the second wireless device.
