    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method for reception of simultaneously transmitted downlink channels having different spatial quasi-co-location (sQCL) assumptions. The method can include receiving a configuration specifying a control resource set (CORESET) monitoring occasion of a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) at a user equipment (UE), receiving a second PDCCH scheduling or activating transmission of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) at the UE, determining whether the PDSCH overlaps the first PDCCH in time domain, determining whether a first spatial quasi-co-location (sQCL) assumption for reception of the first PDCCH and a second sQCL assumption for reception of the PDSCH are different, and prioritizing the reception of the first PDCCH when the PDSCH overlaps the first PDCCH in time domain and the first and second sQCL assumptions are different.

    Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for configuring TCI state activation and indication for DL transmission and UL transmission. In one novel aspect, list(s) associated with DL transmission, UL transmission or both DL transmission and UL transmission is/are provided. In particular, a UE can be configured with a plurality of TCI states. After being configured with the TCI states, the UE can receive a command that includes the list(s) associated with DL transmission, UL transmission or both DL transmission and UL transmission. The list(s) records a plurality of TCI state identifications. Accordingly, when the UE receives a value of a TCI field from a DCI and the value maps to designated TCI state identification(s) recorded on the list(s), the UE can apply designated TCI state(s) corresponding to the designated TCI state identification(s) for DL transmission, UL transmission or both DL transmission and UL transmission.

    Abstract: Method and user equipment (UE) are provided for the TCI state indication for PUSCH transmission. In one novel aspect, the UE maps PUSCH transmission with codebook/noncodebook-based TCI states based on codepoint for SRS resource set of DCI format 0_1 or DCI format 0_2. In one embodiment, UE applies the first or the second TCI state to all PUSCH transmission occasions when the codepoint is “00” or “01”, respectively. When the codepoint is “10” or “11”, the UE applies the first and the second indicated joint/UL TCI state to the PUSCH transmission occasions (s) associated with the first and second SRS resource set, respectively when no multi-panel scheme is configured; and when multi-panel scheme is configured with, such as “SDMscheme”, UE applies the first and the second indicated joint/UL TCI state to the PUSCH antenna ports associated with the first and second SRS resource set, respectively.

    Abstract: A unified solution to support all PCell, SCell, and per-TRP based beam failure recovery (BFR) procedure is proposed, with less standard impact and reduced latency. In a first novel aspect, a set of reference signals (RSs) for BFD is configured for each BWP of a serving cell, and a maximum number of BFD RSs (N) per TRP for each BWP of a serving cell is configured. In a second novel aspect, for single DCI multi-TRP, the BFD RSs can be updated via MAC CE to reduce latency. In a third novel aspect, new RRC parameters for BFD RSs and candidate beam RSs are configured, with different sets of SSB/CSI-RS resources associated to each TRP. Specifically, an additional lists of SSB/CSI-RS resource set is defined for each corresponding TRP.

    Abstract: A beam failure recovery (BFR) procedure is proposed. The network node may allocate one or more New-Beam-Identification Reference-Signal (NBI-RS) resource sets for a user equipment (UE) and report the allocated NBI-RS resource sets to the UE, wherein the NBI-RS resource sets may be associated with a serving Transmission and Reception Point (TRP) and at least one candidate TRP. The UE may perform a beam failure detection (BFD) procedure to determine whether a beam failure happens, perform a New Beam Identification (NBI) procedure based on the NBI-RS resource sets allocated by the network nodel, and perform a recovery procedure to a serving TRP or a candidate TRP to reduce the latency of conventional recovery procedure.

    Abstract: A method for providing multiple physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources for a uplink control information (UCI) report can include receiving one or more PUCCH resource configurations from a base station (BS) at a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, and determining a first PUCCH resource configuration from the one or more PUCCH resource configurations for reporting a UCI. The first PUCCH resource configuration can indicate multiple frequency domain transmission occasions in a bandwidth. The UCI can be transmitted on at least one of the multiple frequency domain transmission occasions indicated by the first PUCCH resource configuration.
