A data packet sending method and a mobile router relates to the field of communications technologies and to resolve a technical problem in the prior art that data cannot be sent to a designated network node. The method includes, setting routing control policy information, and determining, according to the routing control policy information, data packet sending when the data packet is obtained such that the data packet can be sent to the designated network node, and hence the problem existing that the data cannot be send to the designated network node may be resolved.

The present application provides a method for upgrading a virtualized network function and a network function virtualization orchestrator NFVO. The NFVO includes: a receiver, configured to receive an upgrade request message, the upgrade request message is configured to request the NFVO to upgrade a first software version corresponding to a first VNF to a second software version, the first software version corresponds to a first VNF instance, and the second software version corresponds to a second VNF instance; and a processor, configured to: instantiate the first VNF to obtain the second VNF instance; configure forwarding paths of service flows in an NS, so that a first service flow is forwarded to the first VNF instance and that a second service flow is forwarded to the second VNF instance; and terminate the first VNF instance if it is determined that the first VNF instance runs without loads within a preset time.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a terminal for message verification, which can enhance timeliness of event message verification. The method includes: receiving an event message sent by a cell broadcast entity; obtaining a public key of a CA according to pre-configured information for determining the public key of the CA and information for determining the public key of the CA and obtained from a network side, or according to information of the CA obtained from the network side; then, obtaining a public key of the cell broadcast entity according to the obtained public key of the CA and an implicit certificate of the cell broadcast entity; verifying a signature of the cell broadcast entity over the event message according to the public key of the cell broadcast entity; and finally, determining legitimacy of the event message according to the verification result.

Embodiments of the present invention provide an advertisement insertion method. The method includes: before a voice call or a video call is connected, sending, by a media gateway or an advertisement storage, an advertisement to a terminal; and playing, by the terminal, the advertisement, so as to implement advertisement insertion. In the present invention, after a call is requested and before the call is connected, an advertisement is sent to a terminal by a media gateway by using a transmission resource of a video call or by an advertisement storage by using a packet switched network, thereby solving a problem in the prior art that advertisement insertion can be implemented only when a mobile terminal requests data in a specific server in the Internet.

A caching system, apparatus, and method applied to a network. The system includes a caching policy control device and at least one main cache device, where the caching policy control device is configured to receive a content caching request sent by an external packet data network PDN, and control, according to the content caching request, the at least one main cache device to cache external content, where the external content is content sent by the external PDN; and the at least one main cache device is connected to the caching policy control device, located on a data channel between an anchor gateway of the network and the external PDN, and configured to cache the external content according to the control of the caching policy control device. External content can be cached in a main cache device according to a request of an external PDN, thereby implementing active caching.

In a method for configuring a policy for user equipment (UE), a PCF network element receives policy information of the UE from a first network element. The policy information of the UE indicates a current policy of the UE. The PCF network element sends configuration information to the UE based on the policy information of the UE, and the configuration information instructs the UE to update the policy of the UE. The policy control function network apparatus then sends to the first network apparatus update information that comprises either the configuration information or an identifier of the configuration information.

In a communication method, a first access network device sends first information to a second access network device, where the first information is used to indicate that the first access network device has notified a core network device that a quality of service requirement of at least one quality of service flow cannot be met; the second access network device may send second information to the core network device, where the second information is used to notify the core network device that a quality of service requirement of a first quality of service flow in the at least one quality of service flow can be met, and the first quality of service flow is a quality of service flow that has been handed over from the first access network device to the second access network device.

One example method includes receiving, by user equipment, a first message sent by a control plane network element or a user plane network element, where the first message includes a correspondence between a first quality of service identifier NQI and a first reflective quality of service identifier (RQI), obtaining, by the user equipment, a second message sent by the user plane network element, and if the second message does not carry a second RQI, generating, by the user equipment, a first quality of service rule based on the second message and the correspondence between the first NQI and the first RQI, where the second RQI is used to instruct the user equipment to activate a reflective quality of service (RQ) mechanism.

A quality of service (QoS) control method and a device, where the method includes: a session management function (SMF) entity obtaining service data flow (SDF)-level QoS control information; the SMF entity sending the SDF-level QoS control information to a terminal; and the terminal performing QoS control on an uplink data packet based on the SDF-level QoS control information, or the terminal deleting the SDF-level QoS control information. The terminal can perform the QoS control on the uplink data packet based on the SDF-level QoS control information.
