Abstract: The present disclosure relates to intent execution methods and apparatus. In one example method, an element management system (EMS) receives a first intent from a network management system (NMS). The first intent indicates the EMS to execute a first command on a first network element and execute a second command on a second network element, a second intent in an active state is maintained in the EMS, the second intent indicates the EMS to execute a third command on the first network element, and the first command and the third command are mutually exclusive. The EMS receives a first parameter and conflict policy information. The EMS determines whether to execute the second command on the second network element, and executes the first command or the third command on the first network element based on the conflict policy information.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving a first parameter by a terminal device from a first device, where the first parameter corresponds to first wake-up signal (WUS) configuration information in at least one piece of WUS configuration information, and the first WUS configuration information includes information about a first WUS time-frequency resource. The terminal device determines the first WUS time-frequency resource based on the first parameter, and receives a first WUS from a second device on the first WUS time-frequency resource, where the first WUS is used to wake up the terminal device. In this method, the terminal device can determine the first WUS time-frequency resource based on the first parameter received from the first device, and then receive the first WUS from the second device on the first WUS time-frequency resource.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide for a communication method and a related communication apparatus. A second access network device receives a first message from a first access network device, where the first message indicates whether a first state of a multicast broadcast service (MBS) session is activated or deactivated. The second access network device sends a first acknowledgment message corresponding to the first message to the first access network device. In this solution, the first message indicates the first state of the MBS session, and the second access network device may determine, based on the first state, whether to request a core network to establish a user plane (UP) tunnel. If the first state of the MBS session is activated, the second access network device may be triggered to newly establish a UP tunnel, to ensure a normal transmission of the MBS in a handover process.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and a related communication apparatus. In a dual connectivity scenario, user equipment (UE) establishes a dual connection to a master radio access network node (MN) and a secondary radio access network node (SN). When the MN requests the SN to provide a multicast broadcast service (MBS) for the UE of the MN, the MN sends a first request to the SN, where the first request includes a first identifier corresponding to the MBS. After receiving the first request, the SN sends a first response to the MN, where the first response indicates that the SN agrees to provide the MBS service for the UE. In this way, MBS service data is sent to the UE through the SN in the dual connectivity scenario.

Abstract: A communications method and a communications apparatus. For a radio bearer that carries a multicast service, a downlink user plane tunnel is established between a first access network node and a second access network node. A data packet of the multicast service is transmitted through the downlink user plane tunnel to enable the multicast service to be transmitted in a CU-DU architecture. A unicast tunnel is also established to transmit a data packet of the multicast service that is sent in a unicast mode. In this way, the first access network node is able to transmit the data packet of the multicast service to the second access network node on the unicast tunnel in the unicast mode.
