Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for controlling phases of beams to make relative phases of the beams “O” in a beam splitting amplification laser using a stimulated Brillouin scattering phase conjugate mirror. A procedure of making a phase difference between laser beams reflected from the phrase conjugate miror “O” comprises a first step of inputting laser beams 104′, . . . , 114′ and 124′ reflected from the phrase conjugate mirrors to a light detector 150 through light path converters 131 and 132; a second step of using one of the reflected laser beams as a reference laser beam 104′ and making the reference laser beam intefere with another reflected laser beam 114′; and a third step of detecting the interference result and finely driving piezoelectric elements 109 and 119 to control the positions of the reflectors 108, 118 and 128, to thereby make a phase difference between the laser beam 104′ and 104′ become “O”.

Disclosed herein is a method for economically manufacturing high quality TiC powder, TiCN powder or ultrafine nanophase TiC+Ni (Co, Al) and TiCN+Ni (Co, Al) composite powders by means of metallothermic reduction. The method comprises the steps of preparing a starting solution of titanium tetrachloride (TiCl4) in a carbon chloride, feeding the starting solution into a closed container containing molten magnesium (Mg) under inert atmosphere, vacuum-separating unreacted liquid-phase Mg and magnesium chloride (MgCl2) remaining after reduction of magnesium from the closed container, and collecting a TiC compound from the closed container. TiC powder, TiCN powder or ultrafine nanophase TiC+Ni (Co, Al) and TiCN+Ni (Co, Al) composite powders having a particle size of a few tens nm can be manufactured in a simpler manner using economically advantageous starting materials such as titanium tetrachloride and carbon chlorides.
Abstract:
A reciprocating compressor includes a driving unit (10) disposed inside a hermetic container (86) and generating a reciprocal motional force, a compression unit (10) for performing a compressing operation on a refrigerant upon receiving the reciprocal motional force generated from the driving unit (8); and a lubrication unit (12) for supplying a lubricant to each motional portion of the driving unit (8) and the compression unit (10) to perform a lubrication operation. Hydrocarbon consisting of carbon and hydrogen, a sort of natural refrigerant, is used as the refrigerant. The lubricant is a paraffin-based mineral lubricant, which is a sort of mineral oil and well harmonized with the natural refrigerant used for a refrigerator. Accordingly, a lubricating performance is improved and thus a performance of the reciprocating compressor can be enhanced.

The organic light emitting member is formed on the first electrode. The second electrode receives a second driving signal to display an image. Therefore, an image display quality of the display apparatus is improved.
Abstract:
A touch sensing method for a touch screen including an image display device with a touch-sensitive screen. The method includes a filtering process that includes calculating an output signal of an nth frame from a sensing signal of the nth frame output from a touch sensing unit configured to sense touches of the touch-sensitive screen, the calculating using an equation F(n)=I(n)×W(n)+F(n−1)×[1−W(n)], wherein F(n) represents the output signal of the nth frame, I(n) represents the sensing signal of the nth frame, F(n−1) represents an output signal of an (n−1)th frame, and W(n) represents a filtering coefficient; and outputting the output signal of the nth frame to an output end. The filtering coefficient is calculated by an equation W ( n ) = I ( n ) - F ( n - 1 ) R , wherein R is a scale constant. The touch sensing method has high touch sensitivity in an environment with heavy noise while being capable of correctly detecting touch coordinates.
