摘要: A system and method for extracting structured information from an implicit table is disclosed. The system and method provide a way to locate and categorize structured information from an implicit table. More specifically, the system and method provide a way of determining which part of an input image document includes a dominant table and which parts of the dominant table make up rows and columns. These details give meaning to the structured information of the implicit table. These details can be used to properly place the structured information from the implicit table into a two-dimensional data structure, such as a data structure in a relational database. In other words, the structured information from a scanned or digital Portable Document Format (PDF) document can be extracted and placed into a useful format, such as a relational database.

摘要: The system and method generally include identifying whether an utterance spoken by a user (e.g., customer) is a complete or incomplete sentence. For example, the system may include a partial utterance detection module that determines whether an utterance spoken by a user is a partial utterance. The detection process may include providing a detection advice code that gives a recommendation for handling the utterance of interest. If it is determined that the utterance is an incomplete sentence, then the system and method can identify the type of utterance. For example, the system may include a partial utterance classification module that predicts the class of a partial utterance. The classification process may include providing a classification advice code that gives a recommendation for handling the utterance of interest. Once a partial utterance is detected and classified, the system and method can further determine what the user meant by the utterance and can recommend a response to the user's utterance that further advances a conversation between the user and a virtual agent.

摘要: A device may obtain text to be processed to identify a trend associated with a topic included in the text. The text may include a plurality of text sections, associated with the topic, that may be associated with a plurality of temporal intervals. The device may determine a respective context for the topic in each of the plurality of text sections. The device may calculate a first specificity score based on the respective context for the topic for one or more text sections associated with the first temporal interval. The device may calculate a second specificity score based on the respective context for the topic for one or more text sections associated with the second temporal interval. The device may identify a trend associated with the topic based on the first specificity score and the second specificity score, and may provide information that identifies the trend.

摘要: A device may receive a first textual document and a set of second textual documents. The first textual document may identify parameters. The device may process the first textual document, based on a natural language processing algorithm, to identify first values corresponding to the parameters. The device may process the plurality of second textual documents, based on the natural language processing algorithm, to identify second values corresponding to the parameters. Each of the plurality of second textual documents may be associated with one or more respective second values of the second values. The device may determine scores for the plurality of second textual documents. A score may be determined based on comparing one or more of the first values to one or more of the second values associated with a second textual document. The device may provide information identifying the plurality of second textual documents and the scores.
