A magnetic disk recording device having a continuous medium type magnetic disk and a magnetic head slider, wherein the magnetic head slider is formed of a sintered body essentially consisting of titanium oxide as the major component thereof and at least one selected from the group consisting of Y, Yb, Nb, Mg, Er, Fe, Cr, Zr and Al in an amount of from 2 atm % to 50 atm % with respect to the titanium oxide, whereby a higher recording density is realized while maintaining a higher reliability of the device over long time span.
Abstract:
A wiring harness retainer clip for securing a wiring harness to a vehicle body panel. The retainer clip includes a first clip portion and a second clip portion connected together using one or more flexible webs. The first clip portion includes an extending axle which is pivotally engageable with an extending bushing on the first clip portion. The two clip portions are rotatable between an open position and a closed position. A mechanism is provided for securing the first clip portion to the second clip portion in the closed position. A mechanism for securing the clip assembly to the vehicle body panel is also provided.

An information recording medium reproducing system has an insertion opening, a recording medium storing portion and a medium carrying device. Photodetectors are provided for detecting passing of the recording medium and for producing a passing signal when the medium passes. A controller is provided for controlling operation of the medium carrying device. The controller applies a discharge signal to the medium carrying device when the passing signal is not produced within a predetermined time, whereby the medium carrying device is actuated in discharge operation.

In the manufacture of a gas discharge type display panel, by applying a sealing operation along with an exhausting operation, the sealing glass 14 is broken down by a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the panel, and thus, the clearance gap between the substrates can be controlled as desired. In addition, the gaseous component that is unnecessary for the discharge operation is exhausted by setting the temperature of the amorphous sealing glass to exceed its softening-point and be no more than its working point. In the structure of the gas discharge type display panel, a protruding portion having a radius of curvature between 0.1 mm and 1 mm is formed on the sealing glass to reduce the dispersion in the thickness direction of the sealing glass, or the cross-sectional shape of the sealing glass is made convex both at its inside end part and its outside end part.

A first detector is provided for detecting an optical disc inserted in an opening of a reproducing system and for producing a first signal, and a second detector is provided on a reproducing device for detecting the disc carried to the device and for producing a second signal. A sensing circuit is provided for sensing a temporary reduction of a voltage of power supplied to the system and for producing a temporary reduction signal. A control means is provided to be responsive to the first signal and to the temporary reduction signal for operating a carrying device to carry the disc in an unloading direction, and in a loading direction when the disc reaches a predetermined position.

A lever member 82, having an operating portion 83, is pivotally mounted on a lever support portion mounted on an upper casing. Retaining projections 84 are elastically-deformably formed respectively on those portions of opposite side surfaces of the operating portion which can be opposed to a pair of support side plates 22, respectively. The retaining projections 84 has elasticity, and therefore a force, required for bringing the retaining projections into and out of retaining engagement with retaining projections formed on the lever support portion, can be reduced, and besides the sense of a click can be obtained. Therefore, the efficiency of the operation, the operability and the reliability can be enhanced.
