Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to secure location measurement sharing. A device may cause to send a first indication associated with a location of the device to a cloud server. The device may cause to send a second indication associated with a ranging information of an access point (AP), wherein the AP is connected to the cloud server. The device may identify an access token received from the cloud server, wherein the access token is associated with providing anonymized AP location information to the AP, and wherein the access token is associated with accessing channel allocation from a channel access database.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for a common preamble for wireless local-area networks (WLANs). An apparatus of an access point (AP) or station (STA) comprising processing circuitry configured to encode an AP trigger frame that includes a resource allocation for other APs to transmit trigger frames to perform an uplink or downlink multi-user transmission with stations (STAs). The resource allocation includes information so that the transmissions are coordinated at the physical level to lessen interference among the APs and the stations. The processing is configured to encode a trigger frame for multi-AP request-to-send (RTS), the multi-AP trigger frame comprising for each of a plurality of APs, the trigger frame indicating that each of a plurality of APs are to transmit a physical (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) comprising a request-to-send (RTS) or multi-user (MU) RTS (MU-RTS).

Abstract: An access point (AP) configured for multi-AP coordinated beamforming (CBF) and multi-AP joint transmission (JT) in an Extremely High Throughput (EHT) wireless local area network (WLAN), when operating as a master AP (AP1) in a multi-AP network, is configured to encode a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame for multi-AP channel sounding. The NDPA is configured for transmission to a second AP (AP2) and a plurality of stations (STAs) of an EHT group. The NDPA may be encoded to have an information field indicating whether a sounding sequence type is for JT channel sounding or CBF channel sounding. The NDPA may further be encoded to include fields identifying the APs participating in the channel sounding. In these embodiments, the channel sounding sequence for JT can be reused for the channel sounding on CBF.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to an enhanced hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). A device may determine two or more HARQ medium access control (MAC) frames. The device may determine a difference between a first number of bits of a physical layer (PHY) codeword and a second number of bits of a first HARQ MAC frame of the two or more HARQ MAC frames. The device may generate, based on the difference, a third number of bits, wherein the first number of bits is equal to a sum of the second number of bits and the third number of bits. The device may generate an aggregated MAC frame comprising the first HARQ MAC frame, the third number of bits, and a second HARQ MAC frame of the two or more HARQ MAC frames. The device may send the aggregated MAC frame.

Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The AP may be configurable to operate as a master AP of a multi-AP group. The master AP may establish the multi-AP group by: transmitting one or more messages to advertise the multi-AP group; and exchanging signaling with one or more of the other APs of the multi-AP group. The signaling may include at least one message related to one of the other APs joining the multi-AP group. The master AP may establish the multi-AP group to enable usage of AP Trigger Frames (AP TFs) for coordination of resources to be used for downlink transmissions of the APs of the multi-AP group.

The device may determine a first long training field (LTF) and a second LTF, the first LTF and the second LTF being associated with a first frequency band of the NDP frame, wherein time domain LTF symbols of first LTF and the second LTF are generated using different LTF sequences. The device may determine a third LTF and a fourth LTF, the third LTF and the fourth LTF being associated with the a second frequency band of the NDP frame, wherein time domain LTF symbols of third LTF and the fourth LTF are generated using different LTF sequences. The device may cause to send the NDP frame to an initiating or a responding device. The device may cause to send a location measurement report (LMR) frame to the initiating or the responding device, wherein the LMR comprises timing information associated with the first frequency band and the second frequency band.

Abstract: Various embodiments include devices, methods, computer-readable media and system configurations for reference signal generation and resource allocation. In various embodiments, a wireless communication device may include a control module, which may be operated by a processor and configured to transmit to a user equipment (“UE”) device, over a wireless communication interface, a parameter specific to the UE device; wherein the parameter is usable by the eNB to generate a user equipment-specific reference signal (“UE-RS”) to be sent to the UE device. The parameter may be usable by the UE device to identify the UE-RS to facilitate demodulation of multiple-input, multiple-output communications. In various embodiments, a control module may be configured to store, in memory, priority rules, and to determine a UE-RS resource allocated to another UE device based on a UE-RS resource allocated to the UE device and the priority rules.

Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to wireless communication using combined channel training and physical layer header (SIG) signaling. Devices that comply with the 802.11ax or High Efficiency WLAN (HEW) standard may generate and transmit packets that include such combined information. The combined information may be beamformed to a receiver device via an OFDM signal, which may be decoded by the receiver device to obtain subsequent data included in the signal. For example, initial training symbols associated with channel training subcarriers in the signal may be detected and used to perform a rough estimate of the channel. The rough estimate may thereafter be refined using data symbols detected from adjacent data subcarriers using the channel training symbols. In this way, data subcarriers may also be used to determine a channel response along with channel training subcarriers. Channel training information may be transmitted with data, such as user-specific information, in a single symbol.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a processor a channel state information (CSI) module operative on the processor to evaluate channel state information for a multiplicity of transmission points and to allocate a selection of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) to an uplink sub-frame allotted for transmitting channel quality/precoding matrix index/rank indicator (CQI/PMI/RI) information to a transmission point. The apparatus may further include a wireless transceiver operative to transmit the selection of CSI-RS in the uplink sub-frame to the transmission point in a wireless network, and receive information from the transmission point in response to the CSI-RS and a digital display operative to present the information received from the transmission point.

Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP) may comprise memory and processing circuitry coupled to the memory, and transceiver circuitry coupled to the processing circuitry. The processing circuitry of the AP may be configured to generate a trigger frame to allocate a center 26 tone RU for an HE-trigger-based PPDU, the center 26 tone RU having an adjacent upper 20 MHz subchannel and an adjacent lower 20 MHz subchannel. In an embodiment, the center 26 tone RU is for a station (STA) and wherein the trigger frame indicates to the STA to transmit a pre-HE-STF preamble on one of the adjacent upper 20 MHz subchannel, the adjacent lower 20 MHz subchannel, or both the adjacent upper and lower 20 MHz subchannels, and configure the wireless device to transmit the trigger frame to the station.
