The bag may also include a first strip of material disposed on the inside surface of the bag body proximate the rim. The strip may include an inside surface, an outside surface that faces the inside surface of the body, a top edge, and a bottom edge. The bag may also include a front wall, a back wall, and a hem, the hem including a drawstring. The strip may include a printed design. The design could be letters, numbers, pictures, writing, or any other design. When the bag is inserted into a trash receptacle such that the rim of the bag is folded over the rim of the receptacle, the printed design is visible from outside the receptacle.

    摘要： A flexible bag comprises flexible sheet material assembled to form a semi-enclosed container having an opening. The bag has a drawtape closure for sealing the opening. The sheet material of the drawtape closure exhibits elastic-like behavior along at least one axis. The sheet material of the drawtape closure comprises a first region and a second region. The first region and said second region are comprised of the same material composition and each has an untensioned projected pathlength. The first region undergoes a substantially molecular-level deformation and the second region initially undergoes a substantially geometric deformation when the sheet material is subjected to an applied elongation in a direction substantially parallel to an axis in response to an externally-applied force upon the sheet material of the drawtape closure.

    摘要： A plastic draw tape bag includes a non-destructive hem seal which runs along the width of the bag to secure the draw tape. The seal is created by bonding two layers of film by using an adhesive, a hot seal, or a coextruded film. When stressed by adequate forces, the seal will partially open without tearing the film. However, it will open only to the extent that the load exceeds the seal strength. Once the film absorbs the load and the stress is relieved, the seal will stop opening and the remaining portion of the seal will remain intact. Thus, the stress concentration is dissipated without tearing the film at or near the seal. As a result, the bag will fail only when the forces on the bag exceed the load bearing limit of the film.

    摘要： Methods and systems for vibration induced membrane rupture include an epiretinal membrane (ERM) treatment method that includes providing a vibrational device that includes an interface configured for engaging a closed eyelid of an eye of a patient, where the eye of the patient includes an ERM disposed on an epiretinal surface of a retina of the eye. The interface of the vibrational device engages with the closed eyelid and an instance of vibrational force is applied, via the vibrational device while the interface is engaged with the closed eyelid, to the eyelid, where the vibrational force is capable of propagating through the closed eyelid to the retina of the eye. Further, the instance of vibrational force is applied at predetermined frequency (s) and predetermined intensity(s) for predetermined period(s) of time.
