    摘要: A visual warning assembly, configured to make a warning from one vehicle to another vehicle. The visual warning assembly has a case with a front face joined to a base and an antenna. A channel display window, a channel selector button, a power button, a green lighted button, a yellow lighted button and a red lighted button, arranged on the front face. A mounting ball is magnetically joined to the base. A microcontroller is electrically coupled to the green lighted button, the yellow lighted button, and the red lighted button. The microcontroller is programmed with instructions to: receive a communication from a second visual warning assembly. Then, engage one member of a lighted button set consisting of the red button, the yellow button, and the green button creating an indicating light. Finally, receiving a signal from a user making the indicating light an activated button.

    摘要: A high intensity light source blocking system for a vehicle operated by a crew member within a cockpit includes an crew member position or eye-position detection system, a transparent dynamic-darkening display covering a window in the crew member cockpit, and a scene imager configured to detect a presence of a high intensity light source and an emanation direction relative to the crew member cockpit. A computing device is connected to the position or eye-position detection system, the transparent dynamic-darkening display and the scene imager, and controls the darkening of a portion of the dynamic-darkening display upon the occurrence of either the high intensity light source having an intensity value equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold, or the crew member position or eye-position being subject to either a direct portion of the high intensity light source or a substantial reflection thereof off a surface within the crew member cockpit.

    摘要: A subscriber of a telecommunication system has a plurality of associated telecommunication devices which are each contactable via a device-shared identification address. A first device can communicate with a telecommunications network. A second device can communicate with a packet-switched network and a circuit-switched network. A control system receives an incoming telecommunication request associated with an incoming telecommunication request directed to the address, which has been routed to the control system based on the address. A first control phase is initiated where a first outgoing telecommunication request is transmitted over the telecommunications network to the first device and an operation is performed to at least attempt to transmit a second outgoing telecommunication request over the packet-switched network to the second device. If the operation is deemed to be unsuccessful, a second control phase is initiated where a third outgoing telecommunication request is transmitted over the circuit-switched network to the second device.

    摘要: A power plant control system determines an augmented operating parameter set point responsive to a life cycle cost (LCC) objective function responsive to a LCC model. The augmented operating parameter value may be responsive to an initial set point determined by a controls model and a performance indicator determined by a performance model. The power plant may include a thermal generator, such as a gas turbine or other fuel-burning generator, and the operating parameter may include firing temperature, fuel flow rate, steam pressure/temperature/flow rate, and/or another suitable operating parameter. An offer curve is generated responsive to the augmented operating parameter.
