The conditional access system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a service key management client allocated with a service key from a service key management server using a service key distribution protocol; a download client downloading a conditional access image using the service key and requesting updating the service key to the service key management server through the service key management client when the downloading is completed; and an execution controller encrypting and storing the conditional access image using the service key updated in accordance with the request and recovering the conditional access image using the service key reacquired through the service key management client before executing the stored conditional access image.

The conditional access image splitter splits a conditional access image, received via the download management module, into a plurality of files, generates a plurality of encrypted files by encrypting the plurality of files, and stores the plurality of encrypted files. The conditional access image restoration unit restores the plurality of encrypted files to the conditional access image when the conditional access image is required.

A second electrode may be formed so as to be insulated from the first electrode. One or more organic layers may be interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode and include at least an emission layer. A protective layer may be formed so as to cover the second electrode. The protective layer may have a surface roughness (rms) of about 5 Å to about 50 Å. The organic electroluminescent display device including a protective layer having a low surface roughness may benefit from superior lifespan characteristics.
