摘要: A programming device for programming an implantable medical device for stimulating a human or animal heart, wherein the programming device carries out the steps: a) allowing to select one of at least two electrode lead configurations for stimulating a heart, wherein the at least two electrode lead configurations comprise: i) a first electrode lead in which an atrial electrode lead and a right ventricular electrode lead are connected to electrode lead ports, and ii) a second electrode lead in which an atrial electrode lead and a His bundle electrode lead are connected to electrode lead ports; b) allowing to select a first timing parameter value if the first electrode lead is selected and to select a second timing parameter value if the second electrode lead is selected, wherein the first timing parameter value is an atrioventricular interval and the second timing parameter value is an atrial-His interval.

摘要: A catheter tube comprises a tube wall, which surrounds a tube lumen, wherein the tube wall comprises the following: a mesh; and a guide lumen around which the mesh is braided and in which a pull element extends from a proximal portion of the catheter tube to a distal portion of the catheter tube. The pull element is connected in a tension-resistant manner to the tube wall in the distal portion. The guide lumen guides the pull element at least partially around the tube lumen.

摘要: A stimulation system includes an energy source, an electronics unit with a controller, and an actuator that is coupled with the electronics unit and/or the energy source. The actuator emits electromagnetic waves for stimulation of genetically manipulated tissue. The electronics unit is disposed in a housing. The stimulation system is configured for at least temporary implantation in a human or animal body. The controller controls the stimulation of tissue in the body by way of the electromagnetic waves emitted by the actuator. A selector of the stimulation system selects the area of the said tissue for stimulation. The selector includes a masking device for masking certain areas of the tissue, so that an intensity of the stimulation for the masked areas is reduced or equal to zero.

The distal lead section in at least one portion comprises a reduced bending stiffness with respect to at least a portion of said body section.

摘要: An implantable system for treating a heart contains a processor, a memory unit, a treatment unit including a treatment electrode, and a detection unit for detecting a cardiac event requiring treatment. The memory unit includes a computer-readable program, which prompts the processor to perform the following steps: a) detecting by way of the detection unit whether a cardiac event to be treated has occurred in the heart; b) if a cardiac event to be treated has occurred, determining a position of the treatment electrode or determining a variable correlating with this position; and c) comparing the position of the treatment electrode or the variable correlating with the position to a reference variable, and carrying out, or not carrying out a cardiac treatment by way of the treatment unit and the treatment electrode as a function of the position of the treatment electrode or the variable correlating with the position.

The method includes: performing, by the implantable medical device, an evoked compound action potential (eCAP) threshold search by stimulating the neural tissue with test stimulation pulses; determining, based on the eCAP threshold search, an eCAP threshold amplitude and a coupling factor that is indicative of a coupling between the at least one electrode and the neural tissue; and generating a first set of stimulation parameters containing at least a stimulation amplitude that is determined in dependence on the eCAP threshold amplitude and the coupling factor.
