Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, at least one positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration that defines or indicates a plurality of PRS resources having unique identifiers, the plurality of PRS resources comprising a first set of one or more PRS resources, wherein each of the one or more PRS resources in the first set is mapped to an associated identifier used by all UEs served by a location server to identify an associated PRS resource. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the NTN entity, an uplink communication using the timing offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating using sidelink resources allocated in an unlicensed spectrum. A method that may be performed by a first UE includes receiving one or more transmissions from a second UE on one or more sidelink sub-channels spanning one or more resource block (RB) sets of an unlicensed spectrum occupied by the second UE for a channel occupancy time (COT) and transmitting, to the second UE, feedback information corresponding to the one or more received transmissions on a feedback channel based on a mapping between the one or more sidelink sub-channels and the feedback channel that confines the feedback channel to at least the one or more RB sets and one or more guard bands between the one or more RB sets of the unlicensed spectrum occupied by the second UE for the COT.

Abstract: Channel access for sidelink hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback transmission in unlicensed spectrum may be performed. A receiving UE may receive a first transmission from a transmitting UE, and, upon reception of a second transmission from the transmitting UE, may transmit a HARQ feedback transmission to the transmitting UE to indicate decoding of the first transmission. Techniques described herein allow coordination between the receiving UE and the transmitting UE for consistent HARQ feedback in the unlicensed spectrum.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) of a wireless communication network receives conditions for sweeping beams between a base station of the network and the UE. The conditions include a beam sweeping trigger rule, and a beam measurement configuration for measuring at least one characteristic of each of the beams on downlink. The UR measures at least one characteristic of each of the beams in accordance with the measurement configuration. After the measuring, the UE detects a trigger in accordance with the trigger rule. In response to detecting the trigger, the UE sweeps the beams on uplink based on the measuring.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource to be used for transmitting a PUCCH communication including a high priority (HP) acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (A/N), an HP scheduling request (SR), and a low priority (LP) PUCCH communication. The PUCCH resource is determined based at least in part on a summation of a quantity of bits in the HP A/N, a quantity of bits in the HP SR, and a quantity of bits in the LP PUCCH communication. The UE may identify a PUCCH format configured for the PUCCH resource and transmit the PUCCH communication in the PUCCH resource based at least in part on the PUCCH format. A payload of the PUCCH communication includes the HP A/N, the HP SR, and the LP PUCCH communication. Numerous other aspects are described.
