Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may determine, based at least in part on a channel sensing using a receive beam of the first UE, preferred resources or non-preferred resources of the first UE for a sidelink transmission by a second UE. The UE may transmit, to the second UE, inter-UE coordination (IUC) information that indicates: a transmit beam of the second UE, and the preferred resources or the non-preferred resources of the first UE, wherein the preferred resources or the non-preferred resources of the first UE are to be applied to the transmit beam of the second UE indicated in the IUC information. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques at a user equipment (UE) provide for indicating multiple beams to a base station for communications with the base station after detecting a beam failure. Using these techniques, the UE may rely on multi-beam operation to recover communications with the base station. The UE may transmit a random-access preamble indicating a first beam for communications with the base station, and the UE may transmit a control element in a data channel indicating a second beam for communications with the base station. In some cases, the messages used to carry the indications of the multiple beams may be based on a type of random-access procedure used to recover communications (e.g., a contention-based random-access (CBRA) procedure, a contention-free random-access (CFRA) procedure, or a two-step random-access procedure).

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for multi-beam operation at a user equipment (UE). In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a beam report indicating a number of simultaneous transmit beams supported by the UE. The UE may receive a common beam indication for multiple TCI states. The UE may select at least one TCI state as an uplink component for a common beam and may communicate with a base station (BS) using the common beam. The UE may receive control signaling enabling a group-based beam reporting mode at the UE and an indication to apply a group-based beam reporting configuration for uplink beam reporting. The UE may selectively enable or disable the group-based beam reporting configuration. The UE may report multiple reference signal resource indices for multiple reference signals. The UE may transmit the reference signals using multiple spatial domain transmit filters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, abase station may transmit multiple related downlink control information (DCI) transmissions to a user equipment (UE). The base station may transmit a first DCI in a control resource set (CORESET) and may transmit the second DCI in a configured physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) occasion. The UE may determine the payload and the location of the second DCI for receiving the second DCI based on control signaling from the base station or based on the first DCI, or both. Accordingly, the UE may receive the first DCI and the second DCI and may transmit an uplink transmission to the base station in accordance with the first DCI and the second DCI.
