In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) configuration for a random access channel (RACH) procedure, wherein the PTRS configuration indicates a PTRS density per modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The UE may perform the RACH procedure according to the PTRS configuration and an MCS used for the RACH procedure. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may communicate with multiple beacon devices (e.g., road side beacons), where messages from the road side beacons may be transmitted over a sidelink communications link and may be used to determine a speed and/or location of the wireless device. In some examples, the messages may carry public safety information, location information, navigation information, or other types of information, which may be used, for example, to notify the wireless device of a nearby event, to enable navigation, or the like. When receiving messages from the road side beacons, the wireless device may report a status to a base station, which may determine a relationship between transmissions from the wireless device and predict future transmissions based on the relationship. As a result, the base station may modify communications parameters in accordance with the status of the wireless device.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication. The techniques include a method wireless communication by a user equipment including receiving a configuration message, wherein the configuration message in part configures the UE to communicate coordinated transmissions with a plurality of transmission reception points using a coordinated transmission mode. The method further includes, receiving one or more physical downlink shared channel transmissions from a plurality of transmission reception points in accordance with the coordinated transmission mode. The method further includes, selecting a HARQ-ACK feedback mode based in part on the coordinated transmission mode. The method further includes, transmitting HARQ-ACK feedback to at least one of the plurality of transmission reception points using the selected HARQ-ACK feedback mode.

A channel between the source UE and the relay UE may be one of a plurality of channels comprising a channel between the source UE and each relay UE of the plurality of relay UEs. The plurality of relay UEs may be selected based at least in part on a degree of correlation of the channel between the source UE and the relay UE with at least one other channel of the plurality of channels. The UE may transmit the communication to the plurality of relay UEs for cooperative relaying to the destination UE. Numerous other aspects are described.
