    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) that transmits sensor data to another UE may also send information about the associated sensor and its performance. For example, the UE may determine a set of rules that apply to a sensor. The set of rules may define an association between a group of performance values and a group of performance levels corresponding to one or more metrics of the sensor. The UE may identify a performance value from the group of performance values for the sensor based on a performance level of the sensor and the set of rules. After determining the performance value, the UE may transmit an indication of the set of in a first data frame of a message and an indication of the performance value in a second data frame of the message.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second UE, a first message to indicate a sidelink bandwidth part (BWP) switch, for the first UE, to a first sidelink BWP, wherein the first message includes an indication of the first sidelink BWP and a first sidelink resource pool in the first sidelink BWP. The UE may receive, from the second UE, a second message that confirms the sidelink BWP switch for the first UE. The UE may transmit, to the second UE, a third message to activate the sidelink BWP switch, for the first UE, to the first sidelink BWP, based at least in part on receiving the second message that confirms the sidelink BWP switch.     Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain a first indication, based at least in part on a first threshold, that a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) discontinuous transmission (DTX) is caused by a listen-before-talk (LBT) failure. The UE may obtain a second indication, based at least in part on a second threshold, that the HARQ DTX caused by the LBT failure is a type of HARQ DTX that is to be counted for identifying a sidelink radio link failure (RLF). The UE may identify the sidelink RLF based at least in part on detecting a number of consecutive occurrences of the type of HARQ DTX occurrences. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may partition one or more user equipments (UEs) within a target area into groups and assign one UE per set to be a lead UE to aggregate shared sensor data without large sidelink overhead from multicasting all sensor data or uplink signaling overhead from aggregating data at the network entity. For example, the network entity may transmit, and a UE may receive, a partition request message corresponding to a hierarchical partitioning scheme. The UE may transmit a partition request feedback message in response to the partition request message, which may include an indication of the availability of the UE to act as the lead UE. The UE may receive a partition assignment message from the network entity, which may include a partition between sets of UEs and an indication of the lead UE for the set of UEs.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to relaying data between a PC5 remote UE and a network entity (e.g., 5G core network entity) via an inter-working function (e.g., N3IWF) over sidelink UE-to-NW relay access. In an example operation, a relay UE establishes a connection with the network entity and determines whether relay access to the network entity via an inter-working function device is supported at the relay UE.     Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for using sidelinks for communications between vehicular mounted relays to improve user equipment (UE) mobility are described. In one technique, a first vehicle relay can receive information from a second vehicle relay via a sidelink. The information includes at least one of a location, a speed, or a direction of the second vehicle relay. The first vehicle relay determines to handover a UE served by the first vehicle relay to the second vehicle relay, based at least on the information, and triggers a handover of the UE to the second vehicle relay, in response to the determination. In another technique, a base station may receive the information from the first vehicle relay via radio resource control signaling, determine to handover the UE to the second vehicle relay, based at least on the information, and trigger a handover of the UE, in response to the determination.
