    Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes a first wireless communication device receiving, from a second wireless communication device, one or more signals for each of a plurality of candidate sensing beams and a transmission beam. The method also includes determining, for each of the plurality of candidate sensing beams based on at least one of the one or more signals for the respective candidate sensing beam, a first signal measurement. The method also includes determining, based on at least one of the one or more signals for the transmission beam, a second signal measurement with respect to a direction of the transmission beam, and determining, for each of the plurality of candidate sensing beams based on the respective first signal measurement and the second signal measurement, beam coverage information with respect to the transmission beam direction.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure allow a base station to simultaneously send SSBs to a UE and to associate different ROs or designated subsets of preambles with the simultaneously transmitted SSBs. The base station may configure a time or frequency offset for different ROs, or a number of preamble cyclic shifts associated with the SSBs. The base station then simultaneously sends a plurality of SSBs to the UE, where each of the SSBs is associated with a different beam, and where each of the SSBs is associated with a different RO or a designated subset of preambles. After the UE simultaneously obtains the SSBs from the base station, the UE may determine the offset for one of the different ROs, or the number of preamble cyclic shifts associated with one of the SSBs. The UE may then send a preamble to the base station in response to the determination.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information identifying a plurality of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates that are to be monitored for downlink control information (DCI). The plurality of PDCCH candidates may include a PDCCH candidate having a first aggregation level and a set of linked PDCCH candidates, for repetitions of DCI, having a second aggregation level. The PDCCH candidate may overlap with one PDCCH candidate of the set of linked PDCCH candidates. The UE may communicate according to one or more rules for the PDCCH candidate overlapping with the one PDCCH candidate of the set of linked PDCCH candidates. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for search space alignment for control channel monitoring. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes aligning a first set of monitoring occasions associated with a common search space (CSS) with a second set of monitoring occasions associated with a UE-specific search space (USS). The method further includes monitoring for signals from a network entity via at least one of the CSS or the USS in the aligned first and second set of monitoring occasions. The method also includes communicating with a network entity based on reception of at least one of the signals in the aligned first and second set of monitoring occasions.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for determining whether a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) is to be transmitted, and a configuration for transmission of the CSI-RS on a wideband based on an outcome of a listen-before-talk (LBT) operation in multiple sub-bands of the wideband. In one aspect, a base station may transmit sub-band usage information indicating sub-band availability before the CSI-RS, thereby allowing a user equipment (UE) to determine whether the CSI-RS will be transmitted and, if so, on which sub-bands the CSI-RS will be transmitted. Furthermore, rate matching configurations are provided based on whether sub-band usage has been received, based on which sub-bands are available. Still further, power configurations and resource element selection criteria are provided for wideband CSI-RS and CSI feedback.
