Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for adaptive subcarrier spacing in wireless communication networks are described. For example, the described aspects include transmitting, from the UE to a network entity, a first PRACH transmission with a first subcarrier spacing; determining, by the UE, that the first PRACH transmission to the network entity is not successful; and transmitting, from the UE, a second PRACH transmission with a second subcarrier spacing in response to determining that the first PRACH transmission is not successful, wherein the first subcarrier spacing is different from the second subcarrier spacing.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to identify a first set of scheduled transmissions to be received using a first set of time-frequency resources, where reference signals of the first set of transmissions may be bundled according to a first reference signal bundling pattern. The UE may identify a second scheduled transmission to be received using a second set of time-frequency resources that overlaps with the first set of resources. The UE may determine a second reference signal bundling pattern for bundling the reference signals received in the first set of transmissions. For example, the UE may modify the first reference signal bundling pattern to determine the second reference signal bundling pattern. The UE may receive the second scheduled transmission and the first set of scheduled transmissions according to the second reference signal bundling pattern.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for downlink reception with C-WUS operation. The apparatus receives a C-WUS configuration configuring the UE to activate at least one cell of a base station from an inactive mode. The apparatus monitors for at least a WUS occasion from the at least one cell of the base station in the inactive mode. At least one downlink resource occasion is associated with the at least one cell in the inactive mode. The apparatus receives, from the base station, an active time indication indicating an active time for the at least one cell of the base station

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive first information indicating a first set of parameters associated with repetition of a second random access message (RAM) associated with a random access channel (RACH) procedure. The UE may transmit, using the first set of parameters, an initial RAM in association with the RACH procedure. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for requesting message repetition in random access procedures. In some aspects, a first random access message can be generated for a physical random access channel (PRACH) procedure. The first random access message can include a request for repetition of a third random access message. The request can be based on a criterion that is associated with at least one of a maximum allowed transmit power, or a PRACH transmit power. The first random access message can be output for transmission to a node to initiate a random access procedure with the node. In some aspects, one or more parameters related to a threshold for determining whether to include the request can be configured by the node.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating using DMRS bundling modes. A method that may be performed by a first network node (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) includes transmitting, to a second network node (e.g., a base station (BS) or a portion thereof), capability information indicating a bundling capability of the first network node for one or more demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling modes; receiving, based on the capability information, configuration information including an indication of a particular DMRS bundling mode of the one or more DMRS bundling modes; and transmitting bundled DMRSs according to the particular DMRS bundling mode of the one or more DMRS bundling modes. In some cases, the indication included in the configuration information can indicate to perform DMRS bundling according to the particular DMRS bundling mode.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, for a communication on a multi-slot transmission occasion, coded bits of a plurality of coded bits on a per slot basis, for each of multiple slots of the multi-slot transmission occasion. The UE may interleave the coded bits on a per slot basis to form one or more interleaved encoded bit sequences of a codeblock. The UE may transmit the communication including the one or more interleaved encoded bit sequences. Numerous other aspects are provided.
