Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for avoiding collisions between hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback transmissions and between HARQ feedback transmissions and other transmissions. In one example, a base station may configure resources for HARQ feedback transmissions such that the resources are exclusive of each other to avoid collisions between HARQ feedback transmissions. In another example, a base station may indicate resources for a user equipment (UE) to use for HARQ feedback transmissions such that the resources are exclusive of each other to avoid collisions between HARQ feedback transmissions. In yet another example, if a HARQ feedback transmission and another transmission are scheduled on overlapping resources, a UE may be configured to multiplex bits of the HARQ feedback transmission and the other transmission or drop the other transmission.

Abstract: In some implementations, a first UE may receive an indication of the positioning session in which the first UE is to participate, wherein the first UE is to participate by sending and/or receiving SL-PRS via an SL communication link with a second UE. The first UE may obtain, with the first UE, the SL PRS DRX configuration for the positioning session, wherein: the SL PRS DRX configuration for the positioning session designates a plurality of DRX cycles during the positioning session, each DRX cycle having a respective ON duration and a respective OFF duration. The first UE may monitor the SL communication link for the positioning information with the first UE in accordance with the SL PRS DRX configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) of a group of UEs may receive a groupcast retransmission from one or more UEs of the group. For example, a base station may transmit a groupcast transmission to the group of UEs. A first UE of the group of UEs may fail to receive the groupcast transmission and, in response, may transmit a feedback message via a sidelink feedback resource to a second UE of the group of UEs. The feedback message may include a negative acknowledgement (NACK) that indicates the failed reception of the groupcast transmission by the first UE, and the sidelink feedback resource may be indicated by the base station. The second UE may transmit a retransmission of the groupcast transmission to the first UE via a sidelink resource based on receiving the feedback message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some cases, a sidelink user equipment (UE) operating in a power saving mode may identify a resource reservation configuration for communicating within a resource pool allocated for sidelink communications. The UE may operate in a first power state of the power saving mode during a sensing window. The sensing window may correspond to a resource selection window of the resource pool. The UE may transition, after the sensing window, from the first power state to a second power state that may consume more power than the first power state. The UE may identify a subset of resources of the resource pool in the resource selection window that are available for sidelink transmission by the UE based on transitioning between the first power state and the second power state.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating sidelink carrier aggregation with cross-carrier feedback are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a first wireless device includes receiving, from a second wireless device, a first sidelink message including a first transport block (TB) on a first carrier. The example method also includes generating a first Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback for the first TB. The example method also includes determining a first feedback carrier to transmit cross-carrier feedback. The example method also includes mapping the first HARQ feedback for the first TB to the first feedback carrier, the first feedback carrier being different than the first carrier. The example method also includes transmitting the first HARQ feedback on the first feedback carrier to the second wireless device.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for requesting inter-UE coordination messages for sidelink communications. In some cases, a method for wireless communications by a first user equipment (UE), include sending a first sidelink transmission to at least one second UE to trigger the second UE to transmit a report regarding sidelink resource availability and monitoring for a second sidelink transmission from the second UE after sending the first sidelink transmission.
