    摘要: An electronic control unit includes two inverters, a magnetic sensor, a failure detection unit, an inverter driving unit, a signal examination unit, and a failed element identification unit. The magnetic sensor detects a magnetic flux generated around a winding. The failure detection unit detects an ON-state failure of the inverter. When the ON-state failure is detected, the inverter driving unit stops driving the inverter to which the ON-state failure has been detected, and continues driving the other inverter. The signal examination unit examines a presence or absence of a special signal. When there is a signal appearing according to a special magnetic flux, the failed element identification unit identifies a failed switching element based on a motor electric angle generated by the signal.

    摘要: In a rotary electrical machine, a rotor has a field core, a field winding, and a cylindrical short-circuit member. The field core has a cylindrical boss part and a plurality of magnetic pole parts that are disposed on the outer peripheral side of the boss part and in which magnetic poles of different polarities are alternately formed in the circumferential direction. The field winding is wound on the outer peripheral side of the boss part. The short-circuit member is disposed on the outer peripheral sides of the magnetic pole parts and magnetically connects together the magnetic pole parts adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. A surface of the short-circuit member opposed to the stator is formed in a concave-convex shape in which protrusion portions protruding along the radial direction and groove portions recessed along the radial direction are disposed alternately and continuously with each other.

    摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatus for secondary windings to modify a permanent magnet (PM) field of a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, a disclosed system for a PMSG comprises a permanent magnet (PM) of the PMSG to rotate and to generate a permanent magnet field. The system further comprises a plurality of stator primary windings (SPW), of the PMSG, to generate primary currents from the permanent magnet field. Further, the system comprises a plurality of stator secondary windings (SSW), of the PMSG, to draw secondary currents from a power source, and to generate a stator secondary winding magnetic field from the secondary currents. In one or more embodiments, the permanent magnet field and the stator secondary winding magnetic field together create an overall magnetic field for the PMSG.

    摘要: A generator includes a stator that has permanent magnets that complete a magnetic circuit across a series of gaps and through a generator coil. The rotor also includes permanent magnets that complete a magnetic circuit across a gap and through a rotor coil. When the rotor poles align with the stator poles, the stator and rotor magnetic circuits are broken, and new magnetic circuits are completed between the stator and rotor permanent magnets that cross the gap between the stator and rotor poles. A rotor coil can be used to boost the attraction/repulsion between to rotor and stator magnets. Alternating between these magnetic circuits as the prime mover rotates the rotor generates electricity.
