The system can employ camera-equipped drones or other image capture mechanisms to perform identity verification on behalf of a financial entity, cardholder or merchant. Further, the innovation provides systems and methodologies by which allegedly fraudulent or suspect transactions can be blocked or further investigated in real- or near real-time so as to assist in loss mitigation and potentially identification of fraudsters.

摘要: A method for consumer-initiated transactions with encrypted tokens includes: storing a first cryptographic key pair comprising an account public key and an account private key, a merchant public key, an account token associated with a transaction account, an account identifier, and an issuing institution identifier; receiving transaction data for a proposed payment transaction including a transaction amount; generating a transaction order including the transaction data; generating a cryptographic checksum for the generated transaction order; generating a digital signature over the cryptographic checksum using the account private key; generating a payment token including the issuing institution identifier, the account identifier, the transaction amount, and the account token; encrypting the payment token using the account private key; and transmitting the encrypted payment token and signed cryptographic checksum to a point of sale device.

摘要: A computer-implemented method of conducting wireless transaction includes receiving, using an antenna of a point of sale device, one or more electromagnetic signals from a mobile device of a customer. The electromagnetic signals are interpreted using a communications module of the point of sale device to determine information related to a financial account of the customer. Using a network interface of the point of sale device, a connection with an acquirer system is initiated. Using the network interface a packet of data including an authorization request is transmitted over the connection to the acquirer system. The packet of data includes the information related to the financial account, a merchant identifier, a date, and a transaction amount. An authorization code is received from the acquirer system using the network interface. An electronic receipt is transmitted to the mobile device using the network interface.

摘要: Examples for enabling off-network transactions to be performed and securely managed are provided. An example system may include a data network, a digital ledger server, a blockchain platform, smart payment devices, and point of sale devices. Each respective point of sale device and each respective smart device may be operable to perform an off-network transaction, and store information related to the transaction in a digital ledger coupled to each respective device. When a transaction is executed between a POS device and a smart payment device, the POS device and smart payment device exchange a record of all off-network transactions that each respective device has executed since the last time a connection was made to the data network. When a network connection is established for each device, the respective information stored in the digital ledger is uploaded to the blockchain platform for storage and the digital ledger server for transaction resolution.

摘要: Audio/speech-based and text-based interactions between a transaction terminal and a user conducting a transaction are provided. In an embodiment, the terminal may establish a direct wireless connection to a user-operated device or an indirection wireless connection to the user-operated device through a proxy device. In an embodiment, the wireless connection is automatically established through a different out-of-band wireless communication between the terminal and the user-operated device. In an embodiment, text-based data for the transaction are provided over a second simultaneous wireless connection that is different from the wireless connection associated with providing the audio/speech data. In an embodiment, audio/speech data provided from the user during the transaction are enhanced for security and are filtered for accuracy using audio-based processing and/or image-based processing. In an embodiment, a speech-to-text and text-to-speech interface for a transaction at the terminal is provided.

摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to a method and a hardware and software system for collecting data from retail point of sale. The hardware connects to a wide variety of barcode scanners and receipt printers. Collected data is transmitted to a cloud-based infrastructure backend system using a wireless internet connection built into the hardware. The collected data can be processed to extract item-level transaction information, and estimate the price and in-stock status of items in particular shops. A search engine can be provided using this data, which allows a customer to discover which nearby shop has an item of interest in stock. A targeted advertising system that complements this search service is also presented. The data can be used by retailers and manufacturers for business analysis and optimization.

The computing platform may receive, from the first point of sale device, a request to execute the transaction. The computing platform may direct an event processing server to process the transaction, which may cause the event processing server to execute a transfer of funds from an account of the initial payor to an enterprise account of the first point of sale device.

摘要: A merchandiser for storing at least one product for purchase by a customer is provided. The merchandiser includes: a housing defining a cavity configured to receive the at least one product; an opening defined by the housing, the opening providing access to the cavity; and a door coupled to the housing and movable between a first position and a second position. The door substantially covers the opening in the first position and the door is positioned away from the opening in the second position such that the cavity is accessible. The merchandiser further includes a control system operable in a plurality of modes including at least a run mode and a setup mode. In the run mode, purchase of the at least one product is permitted. In the setup mode, one or more run mode provisions that control operation of the merchandiser in the run mode are received.
