Abstract:
A switchboard applied with a bushing-type current transformer includes a terminal bushing inserted from a front direction, a switchboard terminal coupled to the terminal bushing, a metering current transformer bushing inserted from a front direction and inserted into the terminal bushing while wrapping the switchboard terminal, and a metering current transformer disposed outside the metering current transformer bushing and assembled or disassembled at a front surface through a circuit breaker chamber. Thus, the switchboard applied with a bushing-type current transformer has an advantage of having a high degree of internal space utilization or capable of being made to be compact.
Abstract:
An enclosed switchboard includes: a device containing board which contains main circuit devices such as circuit breakers; and a cable connection board which is arranged side by side adjacently to the device containing board, and contains cables that input and output electric power to/from the main circuit devices. In the enclosed switchboard, the cable connection board is configured by one housing; and the inside of the housing is divided into two by a partition plate to be comparted to a cable lead-in compartment which contains lead-in side cables and a cable lead-out compartment which contains lead-out side cables.
Abstract:
A drive shaft extension assembly is provided for an electrical switching apparatus which is removably disposed in a cassette. The electrical switching apparatus includes a levering assembly with a drive shaft. The drive shaft extension assembly includes a housing assembly, a shaft extension including an elongated body, and a racking gear. The shaft extension is structured to be coupled to the drive shaft in a fixed orientation, thereby increasing the width of the levering assembly.
Abstract:
The invention provides a data storage system for connection to a primary power source, the data storage system comprising: one or more data storage media; one or more interfaces, each interface able to connect to at least one of the data storage media so as to couple power from the primary power source to the at least one of the data storage media; one or more energy modules, each energy module being able to connect to an interface for providing back-up power to the one or more of the data storage media in the event of a failure of the primary power source.
Abstract:
A drawout unit that disconnects both polarities of DC current from a DC source, when all poles are used for one of the polarities leaving no pole available to disconnect the other polarity. The drawout unit includes a disconnect device having a four-pole switch, and all four poles are series-connected to the positive (ungrounded) polarity. A separate drawout module with its own housing is connected to the negative (grounded) polarity, and together, the disconnect device and the drawout module are positioned in a cradle with a racking mechanism for racking both the device and the module in and out of the cradle simultaneously, thereby obtaining total isolation of both polarities. In this configuration, the installer has the option to ground the negative polarity, while leaving the positive polarity ungrounded. The drawout module has a through bar conductor that passes the negative polarity of the DC current through the drawout unit.
Abstract:
A power connection system includes a power attachment assembly (PAA) to house power cables that transport electrical power, where the cables are terminated by a connector associated with the PAA; and a power supply to provide the power to a network device, where the power supply includes another connector and a group of circuit breakers that correspond to the cables. The PAA and the power supply permit the cables to be connected to the power supply, and permit the connector and the other connector to be connected to form a junction via which the power is transported. The circuit breakers, when turned on, permit the power to be received from the cables via the PAA. The system also includes a handle to disconnect the PAA from the power supply in a manner that turns off the circuit breakers prior to disconnecting the PAA from the power supply.
Abstract:
For a fast and simple mounting and unmounting of guide rails for electrical components of electrical devices in guide rails, the guide rail set is provided, which is engaged in the frame parts by being placed against and axially displaced in the frame parts of the electrical device. An unmounting occurs, among other things, by pressing a spring tongue responsible for the engagement back to release the rail for movement for unmounting.
Abstract:
A motor controller includes an isolation switch having a main power supply terminal and a first bolted pressure contact and a load receptacle having a second bolted pressure contact. The motor controller also includes a drawout unit having a line terminal and a load terminal, the line terminal for engaging the first bolted pressure contact when the drawout unit is in an inserted position and the load terminal for engaging the second bolted pressure contact when the drawout unit is in the inserted position. The drawout unit rests on a drawer which is in turn supported by a pair of sliding rails. A current transformer generates a sensing signal for monitoring purposes. The components are arranged in a compact design which requires significantly less space than conventional designs.
Abstract:
A drawer-type circuit interrupter is constructed with a first contact member having an open-and-close contact member, an open-and-close operation mechanism for operating said first contact member, an interrupter main body having a second contact member and a mounting frame having the external line contact terminals, wherein the second contact member is a movable-type provided with an open-and-close contact portion that is contactable with and separable from the first contact member on the one end thereof and a drawer contact member that contacts with an external line contact terminal on the other end thereof, and a compression spring for urging the second contact member into a direction for contacting the external line contact terminal on the other end of the second contact member. When the interrupter body is in the connected position the drawer contact portion on the other end of said second contact member and said external line contact terminal are into contact. The second contacting member and the external line connecting terminal can be constituted to contact each other at a plurality of points, for example two, to improve contact and interruption performance.
Abstract:
