摘要: An air conditioner including: a converter circuit that is on an electronic substrate and converts an alternating current to a direct current; an inverter circuit that is on the electronic substrate and converts a direct current converted by the converter circuit to an alternating current to operate a motor that drives a compressor; an inverter control circuit that is on the electronic substrate and drives the inverter circuit; and a temperature detector that detects an outside air temperature input to the inverter control circuit, wherein the inverter control circuit includes a locked energization control unit, and the locked energization control unit performs AC locked energization or DC locked energization on the motor in accordance with the outside air temperature detected by the temperature detector.

摘要: An outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes: a compressor; an outdoor fan; a plurality of outdoor heat exchangers coupled to a plurality of indoor units; a switching member configured to switch functions of the outdoor heat exchangers to either condensers or evaporators by switching of coupling states between the compressor and the outdoor heat exchangers; and a control unit configured to calculate a low pressure saturation temperature during a cooling operation or a cooling-main operation, and configured to cause all of the plurality of outdoor heat exchangers to serve as condensers by controlling the switching member when a state in which an open-air temperature is lower than the low pressure saturation temperature continues for a predetermined time.

In a device network system, an outdoor unit selected from among all outdoor units of a first network performs a recognition process on the outdoor units and indoor units of the first network. In the first network, communication between individual devices including the outdoor units and the indoor units is performed by using a high frequency, and the recognition process performed by the selected outdoor unit uses a recognition signal having a low frequency.

摘要: Each of a plurality of temperature adjustment apparatuses variably adjusts the amount of heat exchange between an inflow medium, which is a liquid medium supplied to a corresponding indoor heat exchanger, and an outflow medium, which is a liquid medium discharged from the corresponding indoor heat exchanger. Each of the plurality of temperature adjustment apparatuses reduces the heat exchanging capacity of the corresponding indoor heat exchanger by increasing the amount of heat exchange between the inflow medium and the outflow medium when the heat exchanging capacity of the corresponding indoor heat exchanger is larger than the indoor load. When there is no temperature adjustment apparatus in which the amount of heat exchange between the inflow medium and the outflow medium is set to the minimum, the heat source apparatus reduces the heating capacity or the cooling capacity for changing the temperature of the liquid medium.

摘要: A ductless HVAC system solution equipped with quick-connecting connectors and a line-set pre-charged with refrigerant and method of installation thereof. The system is simplified such that an amateur may conduct the installation without professional assistance. Pre-charged refrigerant line-sets, which are designed to contain the recommended pressure of requisite refrigerant are employed. A quick-release connection system housed within quick-connect connectors ensures refrigerant does not leak from the pre-charged refrigerant piping during installation, and ensures manual refrigerant charging is not needed. The quick-connect connectors feature a double-sealing system with a unique automatic safety valve which releases the refrigerant only when the indoor and outdoor components are connected and sealed, avoiding any potential leakage.

The baseline configuration of the HVAC system indicates that the HVAC system is an air conditioning system or a heat pump system. Additionally, the controller is configured to determine a current configuration of the HVAC system based on detecting whether a reversing valve is present in the HVAC system. The current configuration of the HVAC system includes an air conditioning system configuration or a heat pump system configuration. The controller is also configured to perform a control action in response to determining that the current configuration is different than the baseline configuration.
