摘要: A connection device for the plug connection of at least one media line includes a housing part with at least one reception orifice for plugging in a plug portion connected or connectable to the at least one media line. The housing part includes a basic part and an insert part. The basic part is releasably connected with a form fit to the insert part via a latching connection. The latching connection holds the insert part releasably and is formed by a C-shaped spring clip which is seated on the outside of the basic part and engages with at least one latching extension radially through an orifice of the basic part into a circumferential latching groove of the insert part.

摘要: A device for receiving or providing a fluid and a method of selectively coupling a tube (22) to the device with the tube receiving or providing the fluid. The device includes a housing (24) and a female port (26) extending from the housing. The female port has an engagement surface (28) and defines an interior chamber (30) with a retainer (62) disposed in the interior chamber. The retainer has a base (64), a finger (66) extending from the base to selectively engage the engagement surface, and a barb (88) proximate to the finger for selectively engaging the tube. A seal (52) is disposed in the interior chamber of the female port adjacent the retainer. The retainer (90) has a stud extending from the base beyond the barb to engage the seal for biasing the retainer away from the housing to facilitate movement of the finger against the engagement surface and engagement of the tube with the barb.

摘要: A push-on pipe joint for connecting polyethylene water pipes comprises a hollow tubular body portion (1) having a central parallel-sided section (2) of internal diameter greater than that of the pipe and having a central inwardly extending pipe-stopping flange (5) for limiting insertion of the pipe, an inwardly tapered section (3) at each end of the central portion (1) and a further parallel sided end section (4) at the end of the tapered sections (3) of diameter such as to allow insertion of the pipe into the joint until it contacts the flange (5); a plurality of equidistantly spaced pipe-gripping members (7) inside the pipe joint and comprising a wedge section (11) having one surface (14) in sliding contact with the surface of the tapered section (3) and having ratchet teeth (18) on its opposite surface; means for forcing the wedge section (11) along the surface of the tapered section (3) to bring the ratchet teeth (18) into contact with, and to penetrate the surface of, the pipe; and a sealing ring ((9) located in a groove (8) towards the open end of the end sections (4) for forming a seal against the wall of a pipe inserted in the pipe joint.

Accordingly, the body is prevented from outward deformation. When a tube joint is used in a high temperature atmosphere, even if any force acts on a fluid tube in the direction to cause detachment from the tube joint due to any external force or the pressure fluid flowing through the inside of the tube joint, then the fluid tube and a connecting member inserted into the body are reliably prevented from disengagement.

摘要: A method of forming a fluid quick connect includes steps forming a housing having a split end retainer slidably mounted in a recess in at least one end of the housing. A first angular recess is formed in the housing adjacent the first end. The first recess communicates with a bore extending from the first end of the housing. The retainer is captured in the recess by deforming an extension of the first end of the housing angularly inward. In one aspect, a conical surface is formed inward of the extension to form the recess in conjunction with the deformed extension. The retainer and recess may be used at one end of the housing for connection with one endform or at both ends of the housing to fluidically couple two endforms.

摘要: A repair fitting is provided for sealably connecting ends of a pipeline, when a damaged section of the pipeline has been removed. In a preferred embodiment, the pipeline ends are connected using the repair fitting with two stab fittings. The repair fitting includes a first and second piston and a first and second cylinder, wherein the first piston is slidable in the first cylinder and the second piston is slidable in the second cylinder. In an alternate embodiment, two fusion joints are used with the repair fitting to sealably connect the ends of the pipeline. A method is provided for making a repair fitting and a method is also provided for repairing a damaged section of a pipeline.

摘要: A conduit coupling having a body with an axially extending bore formed therethrough from a first end to a second end. The bore is defined by an inner wall including a frusto-conical surface converging toward the body first end. A radially constrictible and generally annular retaining collet is positioned in the bore. The collet includes an outer frusto-conical surface mating with the frusto-conical surface defined by the inner wall and is axially movable relative thereto. The collet has an inner toothed surface defining a collet inner diameter and at least two radially inwardly extending bite-teeth defining therebetween a distance less than the collet inner diameter and less than an outer diameter of a conduit inserted into the bore so that the bite-teeth engage an outer surface of the conduit. In this manner, upon axial outward movement of the conduit, the frusto-conical surface of the collet bears against the frusto-conical surface of the body inner wall to radially constrict the collet. The inner-toothed surface of the radially constricted collet firmly engages the conduit outer surface to prevent the withdrawal of the conduit from the bore. The coupling, which has both single and double-ended configurations, provides unobstructed and reliable communication between conduits or between a conduit and a piece of equipment. The inwardly directed and circumferentially spaced bite-teeth prevent slippage between a conduit and the collet, but do not significantly interfere with conduit insertion into the coupling.

摘要: A push-in coupling for pipes contains a sleeve body (2) and a holding means, especially with a clamping body (6), for connecting a pipe end (3, 4) to the sleeve body (2). This push-in coupling permits proper handling with little effort during assembly, and insofar as possible prevents the danger of faulty assembly. A sliding body (50) is disposed within the sleeve body (2), the sliding body (50) being made independently of the holding means. The sliding body (50) contains a striker (52) which upon insertion of the pipe end (3, 4) is pushed over an edge (60), and upon reaching a given depth of insertion of the pipe end (3, 4) strikes against a surface (62) producing a detectable signal such as an acoustical signal and/or a vibration signal.
