    摘要: A light-weight, high-strength beam member for use in concrete form assemblies. A sheet material is roll-formed into a hollow beam having a trapezoidal transverse cross section. In assembly, a plurality of beam members are attached to a supporting metal concrete forming structure in a parallel, spaced-apart relation. Sheeting or decking is attached to the plurality of beam members by hand driven nails which penetrate a top section the beam members.

    摘要: This invention relates to a device and method for forming in situ cast reinforced concrete slabs, with removable forms and incorporating the upper portion or chord of a joist as in integral reinforcing member.     摘要: A knockdown flying form quickly assembled and disassembled at a building site and providing as a unit a unitary form having guided metal to metal roll-out contact with adjustable form supports for pouring successive floor slabs of reinforced concrete. Laterally spaced I-beams permanently trimmed with wood strips support equally spaced saddle hangers that are interconnected by laminated wood joists whose ends vertically overlap and square the I-beams as well as provide a low profile with their vertically spaced rails disposed well above the upper and lower flanges, respectively, of the I-beams. The metal members have rigid wood-to-steel engagement at all points of readily releasable interengagements.

    摘要: Concrete forming structures are provided particularly for use as horizontal floor forms or vertical wall forms. All such forms have a plurality of beam members placed across and secured to additional structural members such as trusses or stiffeners. Each beam is usually formed of extruded aluminum, and has an upper portion which has an open section in which an independent beam stiffening joist member may be secured. Sheeting, such as plywood panels which are usually used for concrete forming, may be nailed or screwed to a concrete forming structure at the independent beam stiffening joist members, which are usually wood. The deflection resistance of a beam having a wooden beam stiffening joist member secured in its upper portion is improved over that of a standard I-beam having an equal cross-sectionaal area of the same metal. Any of the concrete forming structures may be removed from the concrete when it is has sufficiently cured, and ''''flown'''' using known construction cranes to another working position which may be several storeys above the floor from which it has just been removed.

    摘要: A hanger device useful in conjunction with temporary decking or forms for pouring concrete structural slabs, such as roofs or floors, is constructed of a channel bearing a curved, pivoting tongue-shaped member. The channel is adapted to hold a joist for supporting the temporary decks on which the concrete is poured. The tongue-shaped member protrudes upwardly through a slot in the top of the channel and rests at its downwardly curved end on a preformed support, such as a joist or beam. Rotational movement of the tongue-shaped member is prevented by a locking pin cooperating therewith. In forming the slab, the poured concrete covers the protruding portion of the tongue-shaped member, the preformed support and the form decking. After hardening of the concrete, the hanger device carrying the supporting joist is readily removed by withdrawing the locking pin and applying a downward force on the channel is the vicinity of the tongue shaped member, resulting in a slight vertical displacement of the tongue-shaped member from the concrete contiguous thereto and rotation thereof out of the concrete without binding. The device may then be reused in forming another slab.
